@@JKsouthwest it was great, there was absolutely no trash anywhere along the trail or down at the river. Our gps went out (thought we downloaded it but didn’t) as soon as we got down down to the sandy part so there was quite a bit of extra exploring. The sharp rocks definitely help getting through the steep ascents.
It definitely has some good views. The powerlines are kind of a bummer, but since the trail follows them, we probably wouldn’t have the trail without them.
The level of the river does fluctuate during the day, And the lake above the dam has been low for years now. Hopefully we can meet up soon for a trail!
Last time i ran the trail , you would be able to get a small trailer through. But, i am not sure of the current conditions as we have had so much rain recently. Thanks so much for watching!
@@robertvaughn299 For a trail like this, I usually drip to about 15 psi. Not many onstackes on this trail, but the lower tire pressure helps soften the ride a bit and helps resist punctures. Thanks for watching!
I just subscribed and rang the bell! We did the Burro Wash Trail in 2012. It really doesn't look any different except for the water level. When we were there it was up to the mark that you pointed out. We saw a lot of bighorn sheep at that time, no tarantula tho. Great video and love the drone shots. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for subscribing! The water level is always changing, especially on the river. I was looking for sheep, but didn't see any this trip, maybe next time!
It looks like someone has picked up the trash at burrow wash or your doing a good job of editing!! The trails around Nelson are some of my favorite. For people who want to avoid the ride back out they can head out on Aztec Wash rd and head in through Nelson its less steep. Great video as always
The trash wasn’t too bad, but i did pick up some at the waters edge. There are several great trails around Nelson, and i love exploring the area as well. Thanks so much for watching!
The views are great, but it hasn't been my favorite trail scenic-wise. It is a lot of fun though, I have seen a few people turn around at the drop into the canyon. lol.
Definitely not the most scenic trail in the area, but it’s not terrible. The trails condition wasn’t as bad as i was expecting it to be. Thanks so much for watching!
Hey 👋 new follower here. What do you think about me trying this out on a ram rebel is it too narrow for a full size truck? My truck is also stock well the rebel is like an inch higher than the regular ram 1500s which is nothing basically stock. You think I’ll make it?
Several months ago someone graded this trail, making it very stock friendly. You should have no problem. But, conditions can change with enough rain or flooding. Thanks so much for watching!
Great video. Definitely a local favorite even with all of the bumps. When did you put on the PSC? That has to be my favorite mod so far that I have done. Like a Cadillac on the rocks.
Love my PSC setup! I put it on a couple of months ago and it has definitely been one of my favorite modifications. Took a little getting used to on the streets, but offroad it’s awesome. Thanks so much for watching!
Great preview!
Thanks a ton man.
Im looking at taking my stock GX470 through there in the next month or two.
Really good job of providing a preview of what to expect. Been planning to go there for a visit.
@@StuffOfKen It is a great trail. Thanks for watching!
You go yet? How was it?
Really excellent job on this trail guide! Perfect content to help viewers know what to expect. Thanks!

Cool trail with an epic endpoint.
This is a great trail with a pretty scenic reward at the end. Thanks for watching!
Nice spot! Beautiful river. You always find great spots to explore.
So many great places out there that most people never get to see. Thanks for watching!
Just ran this trail today! Thanks for the vid gave me the nudge to go run it
Awesome! How was it? Did you make it all the way down to the river? Thanks so much for watching!

Good to hear the trail was still free of trash, i picked up some but it wasn’t as bad as it can be in the summer time.
Awesome video! Beautiful scenery, love the flex shots, and how you were able to spy that tarantula while wheeling! I want to wheel this!
Never know what you are going to find out here in the desert. Thanks for watching!
Making a note of this one for when I'm in the area looks fun.
It’s definitely worth a trip. Thanks so much for watching!
Some pretty nice looking scenery there on that trail.
It definitely has some good views. The powerlines are kind of a bummer, but since the trail follows them, we probably wouldn’t have the trail without them.
@@JKsouthwest Still nice. Expresly around the water it looked rile nice.
@@markgordon6971 Always a great day on the trail!
One of my favorites
It is a great local trail! Thanks so much for watching!
Is that the whole trail from the beginning all the way to the wash??
Yes, This was the whole trail from just outside Boulder City down to the river’s edge. Thanks so much for watching!
MAN THE WATER LEVEL IS LOW FOR SURE DOWN THERE. GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS, HOPE TO MEET UP SOON FOR SOME WHEELIN

Can a small pop up trailer be dragd there?

Can a gladiator make it? 4 wheel hi or low? Newbie here.
A stock Gladiator will have no problems on this trail. Thanks so much for watching!
Is this doable without airing down tires? I don't have an air compressor and want to try this.
It will be "doable" without airing down. However, airing down does help prevent punctures. So just travel carefully. Thanks for watching!
@@JKsouthwest awesome! I’ll give it a try and drive very carefully. Hopefully it’s not too bad when I go
If I could double like I would this was a great video very informative can’t wait to do this trail
Well thanks so much, I did try double hard making it. LOL! Thanks for watching!

Hey you want to go on this trail in two weeks with me Molly won’t go with me
This is a great trail, and thanks for the invite. Unfortunately, we will be running the Rubicon trail.
Is the trail going in and out the Burro wash the same? What if two trucks are traveling opposite directions on a tight path?
Thanks so much for watching! This is an in-n-out trail. Most of the trail is wide enough to pass with only a couple of narrow spots.

I am riunning. 3.5” JKS lift and 37” tires. Thanks so much for watching!
