15 k is a budget sled these days 😂 after tax dic fees and set up probably 18 k
Junk SP model too lol
Well, a truck is 90k. No problem. eyeroll
I was thinking the same thing. $15k for a stripped down base model seems wild.
@nt3523 top trim packages are but not budget trucks like this snowmobile is described, no problem eye roll
@@lowrider94ssThat's my point. I'm on your side. There are no budget trucks or sleds. eyeroll
Still no fuel caddie for extra gas. I don’t understand stand how after all this time Polaris can’t or won’t develop an OEM accessory to carry extra fuel.
Brraaaaappppp clutch. Cluch. No fix. Trash.
18k for a bare bones pile of junk
I priced out a 2025 9R... the grand total before ANY taxes is $27,828 CAD. That is FN insaneeeeeee!!!
Price out a VR1 Boost with Dynamix - She’s over $30,000 Canadian!!! 😮
Nuts. Must work for the liberals to afford this shit
Just priced out vr1 boost 137 $27,100 otd.
Find a better dealer
Not adressing or mentioning the P22 clutch & clutch bolt failures? That is a serious deal breaker! Literally!
They redesigned the clutch cover and bolt for 2025
Whers it say that. I blew 2. One. Was a new engine hope fully in Warrenety
The addressed it for 2025. 🙄
'The" or "They?" Either way very ambitious. Who do you represent? Polaris? Of course you would say that! By the way, I'm a loyal Polaris rider.
Crazy to think Arctic Cat has the most exciting sled for 2025😂😂
Amen 🙏
Sad part is it’s still better than ski doo, best they could do was thinner grips and a belt under the seat. Not a whole lot to show for a year to improve
@@seanlacey5592 They have the most HP & the most reliable sled. They don’t have to do anything for awhile
not exiting for any one else just cat guys 🤣because you havent had a competing mountain sled in 10 years
@@rock-uu7qr True! I’m on a DS shredder don’t ride one if you do you will want one😅
Boring…. Guess I won’t be upgrading this year. Polaris must have been napping all year.
That checks out.. great looking sleds but..
Seems to be what skidoo did as well
@@GreatLakesLoggerTrue but Ski-Doo has the most HP by a lot. Polaris should have at least up the PSI on the boost. People really want a 9R boost.
@@quinncolbythere clutches can’t even handle the current HP! What makes you think they could handle more HP! Do your homework “NOOB”!!!!
@@Ride4life311 you are a real peach
15k is definitely *NOT* budget. Bring it down to 5-7k and that would be sort of budget. And they can do it, too. Polaris is literally making more than 1000% profit on these machines and excluding tons of new riders and people wanting to upgrade. Shame on you guys. Guess I'll keep my beaten up '05 RMK and will be looking at a used sled when I upgrade.
1000% profit? Don’t think so.
@@pajamatime5750 Do you honestly think it costs them more than 1200 to build one of these? I'd wager it's less. Turn around and sell it for 15k, yes, that's an 1100% increase if they build it for 1200, sell it for 15k.
@@gymkhanadog No, I don’t honestly think they build them for $1200….
They can not build them for $1200 that’s ridiculous
@@Cc_adrenaline Less, you think?
Sounds awesome. I am excited about the brake reprograming that was mentioned on Turcotte's reveal video. I am a bit worried about a new drive shaft though seems like the old one was working and Polaris has nothing but problems with new drive shafts. Hopefully it is proven and the drive shaft supplier has good quality control.
Until people stop buying stuff at these insane prices, they’ll keep raising the price. Hardly anyone pays cash. Most of these sleds are financed. 85% of new cars are financed, with rates at all time highs, they’re still buying??? Payments over $1,000/month for 7 years. Vote with your dollars. Keep your current sled, drive your car a couple more years. Prices will come down if these manufacturers and stealerships are sitting on massive amounts of inventory.
Polaris is way off the mark! Instead nitpicking the sled for minor little upgrades that they can equip it with and raise the price yet again they need to have their focus entirely on reliability and only reliability until they can make a sled that won't leave you stranded and your sled sitting at the stealership for half the season.
For what they're charging for these sleds it is inexcusable that clutches grenade themselves before breakin is over. Clutch bolts falling out or breaking off inside the crank. Or having to take four sets of spark plugs with you for a days ride.
I get shit happens, but at this price point it shouldn't be happening nearly as frequently as it does.
Thanks for the update Dan. It was great to stop by your shop on Feb 29th and chat for a bit! Thanks again for all you do to educate the sled community!
just think of all the people that have been priced out of the new snowmobile market. just to much money these days.
Hello Dan!
When will there be information on changes to the technical part of the snowmobile?
For example CVT in 9R?
Hey I was wondering if you guys did any refinements to the primary clutch bolt for the 2025?
I want the 900R
Where is the sparkplug rack?
