Actually watched several of the documentaries about this girl's life. Her mother put her through hell. She was just a kid and her mom used her to get all kinds of money and benefits. This girl never had a real childhood. She tried to escape her mother many times and so many people and doctors and services failed to protect her from her mother. I think that the prosecutors tried to do what was right by her and she did the time that she was given. If social media and news wants to keep up with her fine that's what news does. She served her time let her get on with her life and she has every right to do whatever. She's a convicted felon now she's going to have that with her for the rest of her life everybody's always going to know who she is there's no escaping that. If anybody deserves a second chance it's her.
She has a genetic chromosome micro deletion which made all of her treatments necessary. Her mother was a grifter and exaggerated the treatments for money but all of the treatments were necessary. Gypsy was in on things from age 8. She hadn’t been to a doctor in 7 years when she offed her mother.
I hope she has spent the last 10 years getting some profound and significant counselling to overcome the horrific trauma she has been through. I am having a hard time believing this woman was as traumatized and sheltered as she claimed to be after her mom was murdered. How would someone be able to come up with a plan, that made sure she was't the one to kill her mother, but have someone else do it and keep her as just an accomplice. Where did she learn how to manipulaye that man if she was so sheltered.

I wonder how many of you actually watched ANY of the documentaries about her situation. She couldn't just get away. She couldn't speak against her mom. She also tried to run away multiple times.
We understand all of that. But she also plotted to have her mother brutally murdered and in doing so she is completely ruined two lives. No one is against gypsy, but she needs to be off press tours and just living a quiet life somewhere.

She did run away multiple times. She had a phone and a laptop and had many online friends she could have asked for help to leave. Her mother was sick and practically bedridden when she died. Gypsy could have literally walked out the door without hurting her mom

You know, there are LOTS of PPL that IC with their kids & ask myself, how come PPL have to get a License to drive a car, but NOT, to have Children! She had a really rough childhood, but seems to have a level of maturity that i find rather remarkable.
