  • Needed a solution for crushing/cracking/milling my barley and corn for brewing Whisky/Whiskey washes.
I've milled my own flour by hand for years now living off grid, … but need a motorized solution for the amount of grain I want to start processing.
This solution will give me a lot more range of grind/milling than other "crusher" solutions I've considered, … plus, it's using something I already have (ie; cheap as ****).

      Thanks Kev'.
Just scored a decent motor with a big reduction gearbox this evening too - so should have this thing re-powered to crack/mill corn this week!
Fine ground polenta-like milled corn is hard to find out here in NZ and when you can it's is stupidly expensive and comes in tiny packets - as if it is some kind of gourmet ingredient. Dry corn however is very common.
This rig should give me an endless cheap supply of my own now. :o)
