remember those movies or animation where the protagonist escapes by going underwater using a simple tube of reed. That’s the speedo bullet…plain, light and simple. seems like the more thing they add to snorkel, the more areas are open to problems. Speedo bullethead is my 3rd and last snorkel I”ll get.
Also, can you do a review on the brick kick board and also can you do a practice video or more videos were you make healthy snacks and/or an unboxing. I really liked the swimuence unboxing video
I just tried my TYR Ultralight snorkel for the first time. I almost took it back before using it after seeing this review. Glad I didn't. I'm a very fit 5' 10" 188 pound adult male. The mouthpiece is not small. I think she used the youth model, which comes in other colors. The black adult model mouthpiece is plenty big enough. More importantly, I did not find the head piece dug into my head at all like she said it did for her and her Dad. If they used the youth model I totally understand, but the adult model is very comfortable.. Bottom line, this is a very comfortable and great snorkel for swimming laps. I'm very happy with it and intend to use it for training.

I got this snorkel a week ago based only on the Amazon reviews and I totally agree with the whole "digging into your forehead" assessment. (lol, if I'd just found your channel sooner!)
This is the first time I've ever used a swimmers snorkel, so I thought maybe that was just the way they are. This video has helped me see that isn't the case, thank you.

I just got a snorkel the day it came I got the arena swim snorkel pro first time trying it had a Michael phelps one before and loved it but was out of stock and was needing one for Sunday's practice hopefully is good have you ever used a Arena Snorkel
hello! i appreciate the thoroughness of your reviews so i thought you might be able to help. I'm trying to select my first center snorkel for swimming at the gym but am concerned about the mouthpiece as i have TMJ. so i'm concerned about jaw fatigue. 'biting down' constantly as well as keeping my mouth wide open are both problems for me. i've read that the MP is curved to fit behind the teeth so you don't have to bite down BUT also that it's large/bulky (and according to the company, adult and junior are same size mouthpiece). any recommendations where jaw fatigue is an issue? is silicone better? thanks!
After seeing your video, I try to use TYR snorkel but I have problem as water comming into my mouth. Do you think the small mouthpiece is the cause ? Should I change other snorkel with the bigger mouthpiece? In Vietnam we just have some brands as Finis, TYR

Angie Li hi! Getting used to a snorkel is hard, but can be beneficial for lung training and also to those with breathing conditions. I recommend using it with a nose clip at first. I always prefer to use mine with one, even though I am used to how to use my snorkel enough to not have to. It will make sure you breathe in from the mouth, you'll also have to breathe out through your mouth. I find this easier as sometimes without my nose clip I will breathe out through my nose, upon breathing in from the mouth after I feel some water up my nose and get that "about to sneeze" feeling. All in all, I highly recommend using a nose clip for starters (: Hope this helped!

Hi, I think that the colored snorkels from tyr are for "children" and the black one is for "adults" and I think that's why you thought the mouth piece was so small. My swim team uses this snorkels too and I have the black one and it's almost to big for me. The things that you put on the top are there because then you don't get that Mitch oxygen and that trains your lungs, or something. I'm sorry for my bad English 😊
Love the snorkel. I'm a beginner and it really helps me to maintain my position and proper technique with paddles. Problem is, after I use it and go back to swimming normal I lose my breathing technique and get lots of water in my mouth

Nice review, @SwimLifeGuru, but I kind of disagree, since I really love this snorkel. The mouthpiece is just the right size for me, and I am a man. The head attachment is actually quite comfortable, even without additional padding. I can only compare it to the Finis snorkel. The Finis' one has a bit larger mouthpiece, but I like the TYR one more. However, even if the head attachment on the Finis is larger, I find it quite uncomfortable. Not sure why, maybe becase it has a larger "curve" that does not fit my somewhat smaller head, or just something about the angle it presses against my forehead. The quality of the straps on the Finis is dubious too.
The only thing I miss from the TYR is it being just a tad longer. I think just one inch more would make it even easier to keep a relaxed head position, and keep water out when swimming in disturbed water ;)
What do you think about the length of TYR, was it right? I might try the Speedo Bullethead next time. I noticed that you mention Finis, but I think you have not reviewed it? Anyway, I quite like your videos!
Nice to see a different opinion! I agree with you on the Finis headpiece being uncomfortable!! I also see what you mean about the TYR snorkel being a little longer, but I’ve never found that to be an issue with the Speedo Bullethead. I’d really recommend you try it! Thanks for sharing - it’s always good to see how certain products fit on others! :)

Anacleta Merlina here's my thoughts on the kickball.... first off it's WAYYY too big to fit under the neck for posture training. It is also impossible to use, by that I mean keep between the knees for breastroke kick training. Basically I just use it as a buoy if one of my teammates forgets theirs, I lend them mine and use the kickball. Falls out every flipturn. I don't reccommend it.
