- Hi Everyone! Join me as I walk along in my backyard garden, which is thriving after getting a Spring full of record-breaking rain!! The heat has now arrived here in North Texas, Zone 8a / Zone 8b! I have over 40 species of plants here in my modest backyard, but I am absolutely loving how everything is doing so far this growing season!
Your garden is gorgeous! I’ve been wanting a Candy Corn Spirea and I’m an 8b zone in East Texas. I love yours! Thank you for the awesome tour!
Lana, thank you so much!! You will LOVE the Candy Corn Spirea! It truly is a plant with 4 seasons of interest!

Really enjoyed your video. I live in N. Texas and struggle with which plants will do well for me. Now, DEER HAVE ARRIVED so that poses another challenge. I need to use drip irrigation but don't know where to start. Have you done a video on that?
Linda, thank you so much!! I have to say, my husband is the brains behind the drip irrigation. I understand a little bit of it, but for the most part I just help by doing what he tells me to do! 😂
