That's the first thing I noticed when they annouced the change and I once thought closing the front door was the tell.
Yeah that’s really good because yurei can be hard to tell but if it closes the front door it’s easy
So NOW i know what my broken mic sounds like to other people, some 3rd party softwares can glitch out with phasmophobias prox chat or something, (i.e. Voicemod) and it causes a robotic glitch mic. Hearing Psycho have that same issue is hilarious

I think it would be sick if they make Myling's steps hearable only with paramic. For Goryo I think it would be good if they were visible only with video/photo camera cuz it would be so creepy if it was hunting and you wouldn't be able to see it chasing you but you only hear the noises.
For obakes, maybe different footprints when it steps in the salt or it changes ghost models for every hunt and ghost event.
The idea of not seeing a ghost during a hunt and only through a camera is great, but it would be a dead giveaway what demon they are in their first hunt. More so than other demons that have traits
@@Aerodenym Technically you're right, it can give away the ghost type pretty quickly but still it could be a strong ability since when the hunt starts you don't have much time to look at the ghost most of the times and with this ability you could accidentally run into a ghost and die before even knowing it's a Goryo or it can fool you into thinking that it's not after you, plus a "Goryo test" with a video cam during a hunt sounds pretty good
@@mary_jane7 I guess it would be fine, I hope they do do it, I guess there are some easy tests for other ghosts too. Would be fun. Reminds me alot of ghost adventures
@@mary_jane7 the best way for that specifically to work would have to be if you lowered its sanity hunting threshold lower than normal ghosts. If it hunts too quickly you’ll know what it is. I do think this is a good idea though because we already have many ghosts with abilities easily recognizable so I think that would work.

There is nobody home, so you walk in with entire squad and make a party so wild you summon a demon in your basement. Then you use the weed stick to get everybody high, including the ghost! I don't know how somebody can be irresposible! What will your parents say when they come back home huh? You think they're gonna be happy about the stoned ghost in their house?!
can confirm, yurei can absolutely touch the front door with their ability! I had a yurei once that slammed the front door as soon as it saw me coming, and the sound happened a second after the door actually closed, which is how I know it was the ability~

I think what would be cool if there were 1 in 4 players to play as a randomly generated ghost type and for the other 3 players to figure out what ghost type that 1 player is. But still need to leave evidence

Hmm it would be cool if made it where the ghost technically can not kill you but it can put you in Limbo, Your between life and death. Bc your not a ghost or Living. So your in between. Like add some lore to the game based on what what happens when you return from limbo or you gotta do research on the ghosts passed. Or you can see the ghosts passed life like how it died. But now thinking about it, it sounds like more paranormal P.I lol.

What I love about CJ is the fact that he breaks his own game so often, despite being one of the developers.
Arguably, that's part of a dev's job. If they have fun doing it though then hey, bonus!

I tried playing phasmaphobia for the first time last night - I am not good at horror games and scream a lot.
I so much love it that I hope Insym never gonna leave Phasmophobia's community.
it woulld be cool if there was a ghost ype that had completely random evidence and effects, so like how you could get a certain bit s of evidence but if they match up with another youd need to pay attention to how the ghost acts to figure it out, no matter the difficulty setting

@@ireallylikecheesygarlicbread yes but also kinda no, what it would be able to do wouldn’t change, the abilities would be static, and it wouldn’t be limited to purely sets other ghosts could do, say for example its two in one, revenant speed, and slows down over time
It'd be neat if you could ask the ouija board "Am I your target?" and get an answer. Of course, that answer would be "maybe" for any ghost type but the banshee.

A temporary portal to the other side would be amazing. Like in Poltergeist. A portal that opens for a short time, so you can go through while the ghost is hunting (scenery same as when you died ingame). Could be a cursed item like a mirror or used with the tarot cards.
Can anyone tell me how I can loop a ghost that i thought was a deogen cuz it was deogen slow but it ended up being a thaye instead
Thayes and Hantus can’t speed up, so it can be pretty easy to loop them if they are at the weakest state
