    To my knowledge, although created by the Canadian Government and Disney, current ownership is in the hands of Periscope Films and is allowed to be shared under Creative Commons License.

      @@crixlp748 first colour cartoon was 'Flowees and Trees' by Disney in 1932, the first colour movies date back to 1908 using different techniques
