Officer is actually wrong, as in he could be fired wrong
So, cameras REQUIRE a press badge in court houses. Which the filming baffoon did not have, or hed have been identified automatically, and theres actually a SAFETY reason for this...
When you get the courthouse issued press badge, you are aldo informed of what parts of the courthouse, different for each building, is federally prohibited.
This would be the route jurers and high profile witneases are brought in. You are NOT Allowed to show their faces, because we do a ton to protect their anonymity; from billions sunk into the witness protection program, to instances like the CNN "freelance" journalist who was arrested following the Kyle Rittenhouse jury (and is now serving 10 years in prison for it) same guy btw who allegedly leaked the jurer list in the floyd case that resulted in a mob lead by maxine waters demanding a "guilty guilty guilty" verdict, wherin Chouvin was found to have accidentally killed floyd (manslaughter) AND purposefulky killed floyd specifically (2nd degree murder) AND went out and killed a random guy who happened to be floyd(3rd degree murder)
Note, because the verdicts are contradicting, Derek Chouvin's a free man now. Turns out, while a prosecutor might push several charges, only 1 is allowed to stick. You do not serve 3 times for a single crime, this violates the 6th ammendment.

Here, let me explain the comment. OP comment:
"'It's public property, you have no right to privacy.' exactly"
      My comment:
      "Except for public restrooms lol"
Meaning the general thinking is that because it's public property, you have no privacy. Does that also apply to public restrooms?
Obviously, it does not. People can't just record video in a public restroom like any other public setting. So that rule doesn't apply.
Francom6230's reply meant they didn't understand, went into specifics, saying the same thing (privacy is expected in public restrooms). It supports what I wrote but the delivery was as if they were trying to prove me wrong...
      Your comment:
"No, because men can now use woman's bathrooms."
I'm assuming you're trying to say that because men can use women's bathrooms, that there is no right to privacy now? In a sense, this is true as it can make women uncomfortable. However, this man is still not allowed to film in there, or peep or whatever. That's still a crime. So there still is an expectation of privacy in public restrooms.

I also wonder who started the myth "If it's legal it's okay" - this guy isn't doing anything illegal, but it's pretty rude to videotape people who don't want to be on camera.
Myth that needs busting: "It's legal therefore it's fine" - sure, being an arsehole is not illegal - the law defends your right to be an obtuse self-righteous arsehole.

And if you want to be a public servant but you don't want harassment or stalkers?
If you have an abusive ex-boyfriend and you don't want footage of yourself uploaded onto the Internet?
Is there any point to this interaction? Does the 'auditor' have any *legitimate* reason to be there?

And yet SOMEONE has to work as public servants.
Or do you think that all women should be banned from this to protect them from sad bastards who need to get a life, a job and a hobby.
Just because you can doesn't mean you should. And that includes uploading the videos to the UA-cam after provoking a confrontation.
There's no reason for them to be there but these 'auditors' choose to cause a problem to 'prove' something. That a 'right' can be abused?
