It could be both since they are quite similar in size. BTW, the 9mm largo (9x23 aka Bergmann-Bayard) is not the same as the .38 acp (which the m1908 uses).
@@sergiom9958 well colt made 1903s in 32acp and 1908s in 380acp both went by the name colt hammerless the 9mm largo was made by fn but now days people call them fn 1908s which look very similar to the colts very nice pistols all in all.
I’d just like to say perfect just like the 38 you guys did for me. I still sure would like one of y’all’s shirts not the gunfather one I have that one please lol
According to Colt’s records, this is a M1903 in 32acp made in 1912. No US ordnance wheel stamp, the “US property” stamping is a bit dubious. Although colt’s records for 1903’s and 1908’s can be a bit scrambled, the fact the serial number shows a 1912 date is the biggest suggestion the pistol may be faked…
@@sahmdhude4130 I stand corrected. I see you’re right about the 1942 DOM on a 1908 in .380. Another detail that I overlooked was the different serial number font used in 1912, it was more of a script. Thanks.
Don't like teaser videos, can't afford to pay everyone for every channel. Just had to sign up for utube per month because i hate ads. Very disappointing.
I just sent one of these in for restoration. These guys do incredible work.
What's the cost to restore one? I have one made in 1908 and was looking to restore it.
This doesn’t sound scripted at all.
It's not a 1911 it's a 1903 or is it 08 I get it mixed up with the fn in 9mm largo

New Extractor, firing pin and complete spring package went into my German Makarov and it's like new.
get the grips worthy of an oss agent fake ivory with a hand of cards on one side and a pair of dice on the other
He called it a 1911, it’s a Colt Pocket Pistol.

Why would a family want to erase the wear and tear that their grandfather put on it of owning it for all those years. Restorations ruins that.
What did it cost to restore the gun?
