That looked fun. I've done worse than loading a shell backwards. I completely forgot to load my gun! Keeping the chatter down to a minimum is a must when hunting late season educated roosters. We utilize walkie talkies so we don't have to yell to each other and scare all the birds away.

You are absolutely right with the noise stuff. I bought walkie talkies at the beginning of the season. Do you think I ever remember to pack them? Nope lol. Thanks for watching

That looked like a lot of fun, but tough sledding!

Hey, you can't shoot them if you're not out after them. I really enjoyed your video. It's real pheasant hunting. On gorgeous ground. How much of it was on public land? Late season roosters are bastards either way, but I agree about the noise. Yes, you have to communicate sometimes. And sometimes it's part of the fun. Walkie talkies? I don't know. Walk over & whisper. Use hand signals. No need to point out every bird flushing out of range. Hunt slowly, quietly, into the wind as much as possible. I'm really trying to be helpful, rather than critical. I hope you had a great time in my state! Come back again, but more quietly. 😉

Hey thanks for watching. All of part 1 was public. Part 2 was private. Half the fun of pheasant hunting is enjoying other people's company. This trip was as much about visiting family as hunting.
I point out the birds more for the video than anything else. I know some of them can be difficult to see unless you know where to look on the screen.
Maybe I'll see you out there next year

I go every year to North East SD. Probably going closer to opener next year since it's still so hot in Idaho in October
