That daughter went on to marry Bobbie Womack brother. And til this day the couple are still together living in Africa. She and her mother never spoke again. Look it up. Love you Bobby. Growing up..."I can understand it and Daylight" were the first songs i heard from Bobby Womack. I loved his raspy and so soulful voice! You could hear the intensity and passion when he sang! The interviewer asked what current artists did he admire or like...He said he did know nor was familiar! Hmmm what does that say about the music today? Perhaps he didn't follow when he was alive. Maybe im old but the music had a different content and less expletive words. Bobby was no choir boy but his music was downright soulful and told a story. RIP

He says Sam Cooke was his mentor but ended up sleeping with the man’s wife and daughter. It gives “I Wish He Didn’t Trust Me So Much” a whole new meaning. 🤔
