I 100% agree about the summer classes thing!!! Me and many of my friends were able to save money and graduate a year early because of summer community college classes. I especially recommend it for science/math courses as these seem to be the ones that are most simplified by CCs

shes just tryna get that bag. also, i see nothing wrong with buying fast fashion as long as youre not doing $300+ hauls, have enough money to shop elsewhere etc. so many brands are unethical unless you pay upwards of $120 for a handmade top, blame the corporations not the people!

Second, it is not inherently wrong to buy a fastfashion item once, or twice, or thrice, but this video is sponsored by them, thus promotes the brand, which is already nothing alike buying occasionnaly from these brands, and this is a conscious choice, not only corporations' faults. I am not saying she's doing bad or anything, which I think is pretty clear in my comment. However, being educated about it is important or having things being pointed out, which if done politely is crucial:) then again afterward it is up to each to choose what to do
@@cf1285 yes, i agree, but keep in mind that youtubers dont make a lot of money unless they take sponsorships. being sponsored by princess polly is no different than any other sponsorship (literally most any clothing sponsorship will contain an unsustainable company and the sustainable ones are extremely hard to come by.) the majority of people buy fast fashion because its the only affordable option for them. fast fashion should be talked about! but jasmine is just trying to make a living lmao

hi jazzy! i love your content and 100% understand that you make most of your income through sponsors but i can't lie and say i wasn't disappointed and surprised that you are promoting princess polly on your platfrom. you have talked about the pros of thrifting and shopping second-hand, but princess polly is an obvious fast fashion brand, uses virgin synthetics which are mostly nonsustainable (even thought they claim to be "green-adjacent" which is blantant greenwashing), and encourage overconsumption with their sponsored hauls and reliance on trend cycles. again, i understand that sponsors are important and i am not judging you or demanding an apology or anything of the sorts, i just hope that you can take into account the power that your platform has whenever you accept sponsorships. have a good day

can you make a full video of college tips? I'm a senior in hs and the whole thing is kinda throwing me for a loop lol
as someone who’s upgrading classes rn, I’d say try your best to figure out something that you’re passionate about but also know it’s a reliable choice in the long run. I’m upgrading for nursing so definitely figure out what classes you need and the minimum grades, etc. a good percentage of people I’ve talked to are enjoying college more than high school but it honestly depends on the person - and don’t be afraid to take a gap year to figure out what’s right for you
