Great recap! As a veteran NCL cruiser, i agree on your specialty dining observation. We only do specialty dining, because it’s worth the smaller dining room, improved service, and better food consistency. I feel that the dining rooms are capable of putting out quality food and often do, but I do enjoy the experience specialty dining provides. As for Syd Norman and the Improv being too small it’s a common complait on Prima, which is now my favorite ship. I wish it was bigger but I’ve learned to accept the fact that if I’m going to one of those venues I just need to plan to stand in line . I also only do Vibe on NCL because the pool decks are always too small and crowded. I sound spoiled but I've learned to max out my NCL cruise, these extras always make my cruise more memorable. My question is what time did you arrive for embarkation? This will be our first time leaving out of Galveston ever and trying to pick a good time to arrive at the port. Thanks for your positive feedback ❤ We arrived in Galveston around 11 am, and our only slow down was to get our key cards. We did online check in in advance, so that saved a lot of time.
Check out the area where the kids pool is. That always has available seating. Only problem is no hot tub. Not like Carnival with their free adult Serenity section.
