- Join me on this 14 day cruise to the Caribbean aboard the Norwegian Prima! We boarded the ship in New York City and sailed to Puerto Plata 🇩🇴, San Juan 🇵🇷(for my birthday 🥰), Tortola 🇻🇬, and Curaçao 🇨🇼 during the first week.

Nice vlog! Love how you showed things day by day. Been on cruises to all the Carribean islands listed howver never thought about sailing out of NYC definitely will put that on my list. Longest 10 days so far. Too hit most island in one trip would've been Awesome!!!

Worked in the cruise industry and was eyeballing this ship, so thanks for the great review. I’m kinda mortified at the service, lack of communication, and corners cut at different points given the price point and brand, but I’ve also never experienced Norwegian. Glad y’all made the best of it.

Was that spot in the DR port where you guys were in the pool a separate expense? Or is that included with that port
@@KattSavesCT That’s Taíno Bay in Puerto Plata! It’s part of the port so it’s included. They do have bars and restaurants that are not included, i think the drinks averaged around $14.
@@kattelise been wanting to go on a cruise with DR and Virgin Islands in the itinerary. We have a 14 transatlantic cruise up next spring so that’s one might have to wait lol. How was packing for you for a 14 day cruise. Any tips on laundry
a 14 day transatlantic cruise is now on my bucket list, that sounds amazing! 😱 packing for a 2 week trip was kind of overwhelming, especially because we left from NYC in December. But i made collage to visualize all of my outfits based on the port activities planned. i packed a small pack of laundry detergent to wash undergarments in the sink but we were offered complementary laundry because they messed up my birthday decorations :)
@@kattelise yeah I seen on your part 2 of the vlog lol. I was thinking of doing the same with the laundry detergent and getting some magnetic hooks to dry items over night inside the shower. Might have to do a laundry day as well because traveling back to the US with 3 or 4 luggage’s doesn’t seem feasible.
Did you get charged extra for the additional water cartons?
I didn’t! We got 12 cartons as a perk with the booking (it was randomly added when we called to change our room). The extras were delivered a few days into the cruise but we didn’t pay extra.
