me and my friends were there idk if u remember us we asked if it was jon bishop and my friend is in the background of the thumbnail we were soooooo shocked it was u glad to see u great vid btw
Jon, Another great vid. As a 59 year old who just resumed skating after a 40 year hiatus, you look like you've been riding for a while and I hope and I can progress to your level. Your videos will help for sure! Oh and your intro is hilarious! 🤣🍻
That street course is pretty fun from a transition point of view too, lip tricks and grinds on either side and then some fat early grabs over the banks / hips kept me entertained when I was there 🤣
Hi mate. It's your Swedish friend here. Good to see you skating. I'm ju curious, are you ever gonna start street skating? Wish I could be with you there and ripp. Looks like an amazing indoors park. 1 love from snowy Sweden 🇸🇪
Yeah dude, I do some bits, but I bust my shoulder up grinding ledges and I had a run of hurting myself badly every time I went to the street park. Transition is my passion and there are only so many hours in the day so I prioritise that mostly ??!
Ha, yeah, I recorded all the links first and then skated second. The magic of tv. My head got too hot in the bobble so had to change it down 😂 Hat continuity is another area for improvement 😂
Hey have you been riding off road as well? (Grass and dirt) The riding field is vast. Will post a link of an example in a reply to this comment. Great videos, I'm 45 and still enjoy land surfing.
@@JonBishopSkate It would be good to see you, we have a small airbnb a few miles out of Hastings that you are more than welcome to use, foc of course, if you do come down. My 2 girls adventuregirls24 and @rotton_banannas54 started skateboarding about 9 months ago. They are now putting their skating skills and editing to good use!. Stay safe and keep loving it.

Ha, yeah, it was a business trip, on a tiny plane, with very limited luggage. I was pleased to have sneaked a board in as a week without skating makes for a long face. I didn’t really know if skateparks would be viable with my schedule and no car, so I packed my flatland setup thinking I could at least find a spot to work on freestyle etc, but when I happened across this bowl I suddenly realised the error of my decision 😂 wasn’t really to know, and to be fair the setup carved just fine when I loosened the trucks off. Perhaps the title of the video is misleading? It should say UK music tour (with a sneaky bit of skateboarding thrown in cause I’m addicted?!! 😂
I’ve been watching your videos for ages and the loading bay is my local so sad to have missed you.
It’s a great spot dude !! That bowl 👌
Man what kinda park has a cafeteria! This is the best park I've ever seen!!
Check out the mega bowl at the Urban Extreme indoor skatepark in Barrow-in-Furness. They have a half a mega bowl.
Crikey, sounds ace!

Didn't look too crowded either👍👍
🤙🏼
Sick little review. Lots of changing of hats though, is the secret to your skating skills linked like Samsons hair?

Ha, yeah this board is the one I use for the local mini ramp, it’s in a field so every time I bail it lands in the mud. Should re grip now it’s dry 😂
Place looks fun. Was the bowl slick?
It had good grip, I was surprised as I had 54mm wheels on, my regular spitfire 58mm would have raced round this !!
When are you going to get down to Source in Hastings?.
Not sure! I watched the documentary on building it, looks ace, but never find mind-self up that way ?

Dude, love your stuff but how could you make a trip like that with the wrong board and no gear? 🤨

Lesson leaden, stump up the cash for an extra bag, take all the gear and go mental in that bowl 😂
Is the loading bay usually this quiet?
Hey dude, I was there on a week day in term time. There were a fair few in by the end, but I’d finished filming by then. I recon it’d get busy,
@@JonBishopSkate ok thanks just trying to find a quiet time haha
Mogwai inspired title?
Crikey, you get the medal of honour. Yeah couldn’t resist putting in a Mogwai inspired track, when in Glasgow ….
You should have went to unit 23 far better park more choice and far bigger ✌🏻
Ah, thanks for the tip, didn’t see that one on the Google search for skateparks near me. I was staying in the centre and only had my board for travel
>he didnt drive from lands end to john ogroats
NGMI lol
