It’s a great scooter no doubt. I just missed out on this model by 8 months but I really love my SR160. White looks amazing on it. Sure. Creature comforts and features aren’t there that much but the ride is what it’s all about. And it does it good.
Just booked the SR after riding the Aerox and the price difference right now between the two here In Delhi is 30K+ I got the Normal SR160 in white color since other models are expensive for the difference colours which makes no sense at all, ON road delhi the Aerox is 1.83L and the SR 160 is 1.55 and that makes the Aprilla so much better in my opinion, I test rode the Aerox and loved the engine but the cramped floorboard and the handlebar hitting my kneee whenever I'm turning the scooty was the deal breaker for me, Aerox is a fantastic scooty no doubt but it's just way too extensive and the quality of the plastics doesn't match the price. So SR160 was my pick 😊
I don't Know why do experts always demand external fuel filler.. though it is always advisable to fill fuel after using double stands of scooter..also to make space for external fuel filler tvs ntorque seat length is reduced which is bit uncomfortable for pillion rider..
It's actually advised to fill with main stand just to keep the scooter straight and when u r on the scooter it's already straight and it's a huge convenience to have an external one
Looks good , exclusive, looks awesome reminds one of the hyper motard! Expensive but price to performance ratio is not so good just 11 PS at that price the aerox with 15PS is just mind blowing.
i was interested in buying aerox but the availability really sucks, so their are only two store officially selling it in maharashtra, and when you go around in mumbai some dealer will simply say no, some may ask you extra money upto 25k for getting it faster or one has to wait upto 6months, also one of the dealer said from the time of booking if price increases i will have to shell out extra money at the time of delivery, so full black marketing is happening it's quite sad.
...yamaha should also have kept the floor board flat for their fab scooter Aerox !!😥😥...that would have made the Aerox the most lusted after in the 150 cc segment for me atleast !! But.....😥😥
They would've had it been possible. It's a liquid cooled 155cc so it needs some more space and besides we get a generous under seat storage. So it's justified I guess
Aprilia is not a reliable scooter, since after 2 years of ownership this has given serious trouble, especially fuel pump issues, the scooter won't start all of a sudden and you will have to tow to the service center. They say that issue is common and they can't do anything other than changing it which cost 6000 rs.That to with warranty they wait for approval and keep scooter for weeks at service center.
Hey powerdrift , brought a new bike I kinda hear popcorn poping sound in my exhaust after riding my bike in very slow speed and parking in my garage ,I can't hear this sound while riding . May be the problem is with fi (more fuel than air??) Or just stagnant water from pothholes
There's nothing to worry about, it's just the catalytic converter ticking. You'll hear this on practically every modern bikes and if you crawl under any new car, then there as well! It's totally normal.
Aprilia sucks. Im the owner of a SR150 and yet iam saying this. Same engine and power year after year and addition features cost extra....keep this going and aprilia is gonna be history. By the way iam selling my SR and getting Aerox 155. Better in every way

Useless pro max scooter. Get yourself a proper motorcycle if you need thrilling ride or handling/edging capabilities. Otherwise get any of the 100cc scooters form TVS/Honda and be happy.
before I complete watching the review I just want to mention... I am not a Scooty guy but recently rode the sr160. it is a scooty that is trying way to hard to be a scooty and is masquerading as a motorcycle. it is shit.

At least now TVS should put away the skepticism and bring the 150cc ntorq used in Dakar series

TVS only lacks premiumness. Brand image is not as premium as aprilia. Aprilia takes high price for its name. This is the way they survive.

As an Aprilia owner I am facing some problem like over heating, worst suspension, low performance compare to price so i never recommend to buy this
Go for a long ride say 100km on highway, thank me later.
Maybe you haven't learn the beauty of Aprilia.. i still owned my Aprilia 2018 model. Performance on the highway were incomparable with other others

I have to ride a km of( off roading ) with an average of 10-13 kmph it's 300 cc bike
