Oh. My. Word. I love listening to you while you're coloring. It's like having a little visit with you and your family, catching up on your day. That makes it so easy to watch and learn your tips and tricks. Thank you for being so sweet.
Ooh Rachel, you’ve reached 5! Congratulations👍👍👍😁. I love your videos. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed and a bit stressed when watching other tubers teaching technique so I love your calm approach and always feel that you pass on to us your love of colouring, and your “how to” sessions are great.Thank you.
I'm a prisma girl from way back, so I'm probably biased, but I think their blender is the best. I've used it with different pencils and it never lets me down. I think the carandache is really a burnisher even though it's called a blender and have seen it react badly to waxy pencils, kind of wads the wax up or pushes it around and gives a very uneven finish which is the opposite of what I'm wanting it to do.
I thought the CA gold were oil and the the soft touch were wax? Do they really perform the same? Your soft touch seem really smooth compared to other reviews I've seen....
I have heard they are different too, and the Gold do say they are oil based on the tin but the soft-touch do not say if they are wax or oil. I can feel a big difference between some pencils sets such as poly and prisma and I expected there to be the same difference between these, but to me it doesn't feel that way. Colour with Claire has a comparison video I think - could be worth you checking that out as she is better than me at feeling the differences between how pencils lay down.
@@RachelHendersonColouring I have a feeling there may be some batch differences with these budget pencils that confuse us all as well. So many have been found to be the same pencil as other brands, different pencils within the same brand.. and Arteza has changed their formula constantly over time like they just slap their brand on whatever pencil is convenient at the moment.
