  • For daal
    1 cup yellow spilt peas (washed)
    2 cups water
    1 tsp turmeric powder
    Salt as per the taste
    1 tsp oil
    Wait until it gives 2 whistles
    For roti
    2 cups wheat flour
    Pinch of salt
    ½ tbsp ghee
    Water as required
    After 2 whistles
    Release the pressure naturally
    You can make this in desire shape
    Again, add 2 cups warm water
    Add the roti we made
    Now wait until it give one whistle
    To temper
    1 tbsp oil
    1 tsp cumin seeds
    ½ tsp mustard seeds
    2 bay leaves
    Dried chilies
    Chopped onion
    Crushed ginger and garlic
    1 tsp turmeric powder
    ½ tsp red chili powder (optional)
    Salt as per the taste
    1 tsp cumin and coriander powder
    Add chopped tomato
    Salt as per the taste
    Now add daal roti
    Add chopped coriander leaves
