Nepal is the country of origin for a significant number of kidneys donated to India.
However, the large majority of these donations do not come from a genuine desire to help fellow human beings. They sacrifice one of their kidneys in exchange for a substantial sum of money.
Some people are misled and deceived by agents who spread misinformation, claiming that the loss of a kidney would not have any adverse health effects. Some even falsely assert that the kidney can regenerate.

Turning poor people into spare parts for richer people around the world is incredibly sad. It’s making an already difficult life even worse.
It is not just sad, it is sickening.
dystopia. Farming poor and giving them the bare minimum for their organs and life
unless if the poor skips the matrix and proves to be worthy
Sadly people do nothing to protect or help them to be safe
The fact that Neeraj can still smile and have his passion for singing, makes me want to salute him.
I wish they provide us his MoneyGram info or whatever. That would be cool!
@@henryjohnson-ville3834 your desire to give is very inspirational and selfless
though he smiles, but there's still sadness that is evident in eyes. poor young man.
Makes me want to sell my kidneys too😂
he sell his kidney for about $570 and hospital will sell again $50,000
Life is very unfair
@@MrNdanguza @ yes, very sad
Didn't knew Indian illegally trade kidney
Because the hospital and the doctor is taking the risk of losing their job and credibility by doing it illegally.
In some markets, we call it "sharking"
I feel truly bad for the 2nd person. He was young and had dreams and made mistakes to achieve them. If it were to be me, I would have broken long ago and yet this guy smiles and still trying to live his dreams.
Also at the same time I don’t think the people who buys the kidneys are wrong as they are just trying to survive and continue living but a proper compensation should be provided to the donor for the great risk they take.
Hope my guy gets well soon and can achieve his dreams one day ❤
He is so inspiring.....despite his abundant issues, he could not forget smiles 😊
he must be high on heroine
With one kidney means they can’t do any heavy duty anymore so that will bring more poverty to their lives.these people are scammed by those traders
And the payment is PEANUT 😢
His determination and will to live is just amazing hats off to him 😊
DOCTOR: People do not ask us. Ask us. We are here.
Also DOCTORS: Charge them for a simple question and appointment.

I am from India, I had Kidney failure, bit i got kidney donated by my own father, I am grateful,
also in most of hospitals (including mine), it is illegar to get kidney from people other than blood relatives like mon dad sister uncle or mother aunt
This is a grave crime and should be stopped at all cost. Govt should start by sensitizing the public
should be punished by death, as it will scares off and save lots more people plus tax money
And the fact that government from both country didnt do anything just shows how corrupt they are
Criminal organisation are way ahead than govts
I dont think so , the government dont care about the poor ... this is true in most countries @@aneeshxlr10
It may seem crazy to sell a kidney for music video but it also shows how much he believed in his dream.
That's just stupid. I dont think people in his area are even making it with music, if anything it's probably 1 in a million people who make it.
He was desperate and naive. Living in hus bubble and not knowing anything about how it works in reality
No, don't romanticize it. He is/was just plainly uninformed, gullible and stupid. Simple as that

@@VinayTruth You're giving him too much credit. I highly doubt he has any of the logical part of his brain either
Thank you for calling it a decision and not a mistake. How he thought a music video was worth a kidney is beyond me. The first guy at least made a little more sense but still doesn't seem to be better off for having given up a kidney. Not making a societal judgement on either one of them. I am not a product of their environment. So I can't speak on their motivations. I can only observe.
Pretty fucken dumb decisions. Soon there's gonna be stories of people selling kidneys for a bucket of kfc for the family
It's a wrong decision which is literally a mistake
Thankfully we will never be in a position to understand why these men are making such a decision. Their motivation was simple. Have hopes to make money and have a better life for their family. I guess the guy who wanted the money to make a music video would have hoped that the videos would have brought him fame and fortune. Sadly a lack of education will make such people easy to fool. :(
seems like a lack of education is what drove them to make such decisions. Selling kidneys for marriage or music videos is incredibly dumb. The first guy has now dragged his kid into a life of poverty supposedly for 500$.
The musician was ignorant tho
That doctor made me so upset, he’s acting as if the doctors don’t know that those people are being tricked into surgeries when they operate on them, he thinks we don’t know that the doctors are in on it. So judgmental, people lack education and they are being taken advantage of
True
the kidney is extracted in india according to the video. he is a nepali doctor.
500 bucks? Lol what a bunch of evil thieves, these bastards need to be held accountable, they will probably make 50 times the amount they paid the poor guy.
Yea supposedly 50,000
Listen here 500 buck when it's converted Nepal currency it went up to 70000
So don't be fool it is a huge money for those who use Nepal currency

Its sad that the traffickers are preying on desperate people and disingenuously lying to them.
bro I feel sorry for people who has been tricked into selling their kidneys
We have to support them. We need to arrange donation facilities for these vulnerable people in Nepal
The second victim was so unfortunate not only he is paralysed for life but also lost the money for his music video. I feel sorry for his parents 😢 hope he makes use of social media and share his story and music with the world so his parents might become happier

Lol, I know you mean we’ll with your comment but people like this can’t afford to eat, or proper housing or clothing not to talk of affording a phone or to be able to afford call units and data.
This Narrator is one of a kind🙏🏿
$500 for a kidney?!?!?⁉️⁉️⁉️
This is an exploitation of a poor at its best. Preying on people that are less fortunate in such a way and then capitalize it at the other end exorbitantly is very inhumane. This is so evil and sinful.
thats madness
It's how human have always been, making money off the poor
In poor countries you have doctors in richer one you have lawyers.
That is a Big amount in Nepal.
@@mysteries6894 Not that big amount in Nepal even for the poor people, considering the inflation rate. Some people just want quick money. Moreover, it was for the exchange of the kidney, so it's definitely not a big amount.
"If you sneeze, urin comes out", yea ask women who gave birth at least once, that happens then. But, that some sellers say that, "Don't worry, the kidney will grow back", if kidneys would grow back, no one would need to donate a kidney.
If I had funds to travel to Nepal, I will help shoot the music video
What's stopping you but you. Plan work and pull it together in time
Second guy needs a gofundme to help him have care once his parents are no longer able. Absolutely horrible that there's no support. Even his keyboard is covered in dirt. It breaks my heart. If he were on English speaking sites like imgur or reddit, people would help him.
yes we should make something for him...giving him1000 euro for his video music clip...at least
How do we do this? Is it on spotify
The best you can do is contact the channel and give the money directly to the guy , otherwise a lot of vultures are there who will eat all of it.
I wanna donate money to help him. How can I do that?
When I was younger, my parents had to go out make money, they always warn me to not go farther from the house I might get kidnapped and take my kidney…. It actually real , how creepy

I can't finish watching this documentary. Life was unfair but damn. Getting paid 570$ for a kidney and suffer after. I hope people behind this would root in hell. For those people who sell big respect for the fight to live and live on dreams.
Dude when you convert $570 in Nepal currency it went to 70 000 so in Nepal country that huge money and it can feed 10 family members within the year so since India or Nepal don't use dollar that doesn't mean their currency should be understimated by you
@@ayandadobe5933its not enough money and with the inflation it is not enough money for a year now. I Don’t think $570 dollars is enough for a body part which helps you in your daily functioning. People are not worth that low.

I know there might be some censorship but the caption in this video are way off than the actual words spoken by the victim. The captions are very misleading.
selling kidney for better life, like -need war for peace.😂😂
They need education and don't have baby if they cannot support their kids.
Nepal is actually not having enough babies so the population is not booming like with other countries where people are breeding too much. The government is actually doing programs encouraging couples to have more children because of depopulation concerns.
Imagine being neighbors with India God must’ve left this place

The content in this video is very relevant in today because i believe that there are certain percentage of people is there for unknown the consequences of Organ donation. It is a shame for all Nepalese citizens living abroad and contributing nothing to their motherland. Nepal is becoming poorer and poorer, year by year. No political stability, dominating by madhesis who significantly support india.
It is incorrect to assume that all Madhesi people support India solely based on their physical resemblance or proximity to the Indian border. Political opinions and affiliations vary among individuals within any community, including the Madhesi community. Like any other group, Madhesi people have diverse perspectives, and it is unfair to make broad generalizations about their allegiance or political leanings.
The British came and messed up all the preexisting borders, now we have indian people having to identify as Nepali and Nepali people having to identify as Indian. As for political stability you are not entirely correct as the politics have become more stable than ever before. The country can only improve from here on, and no doubt there are issues that need to be tackled for that but there is progress.
That much is Nepal. When I visited Nepal in 2018, I found lots of potential in Pokhara and Katmandu. Many Nepalese women come to India GB road they falls to the traffickers. If the Govt. can allow Sex tourist like Pataya in some perticular location the economy will boost. Instant of coming to India and becoming cheap why not in your own country. Selling Kidney is the last option a person will have. Feel so sad. Nepal had the most beautiful women in the world.
@@Alex-jn3fb Nepali women are preyed upon by the human traffickers because they are valued higher for their looks in brothels. They promise the poor village families good job in cities and education for their daughters then lock them in Indian brothels.
@@Alex-jn3fb You do realize that most of the women in Indian brothels are trafficked Nepali women right? If you legalize sex work, young girls will get trafficked. Just because the women are beautiful doesn't mean you should take advantage of them. Women are like flowers, take care of them and love them, and they will grow beautifully. NO ONE should sell their body to live, man OR woman. Why not educate these people so they can get decent jobs?
3:05 the subtitles are all messed up
There is lack of awareness, shocked to know the singer sold his kidney for 60k Nepali Rupees. There are many Nepalis working in Indian farms. The salary that they get paid in my village Sindhudurg, Maharashtra is 7k Indian rupee per month along with free food, accommodation and medical expense. So a labourer saves around 125k Nepali Rupees per annum. He could work in India as unskilled labourer ,save 125k NPR and achieve his dream. Lack of guidance and awareness can destroy life. Feeling sad for him. I pray to god, he gets a donor and lives a normal life.
Niroj is a real influencer by all means of its true definition..inspiring young gentleman.
I want to sell mine
That's absolutely horrific.
$500 to change the life of a man
Don't be blinded by being stupid when you convert $500 to Nepal currency it went up to 70 000 so its a huge money for Nepal citizens

*Kavre:- The Kidney Valley*
The district mere 25 km far east of the capital city of Nepal has grown up as the kidney valley of the world because of poverty and illiteracy. Even concerned authority hasn't seemed to be so aware to stop these illegal practices. Maybe due to commissions from the brokers and hospitals. Kidneys are sold for big parties with huge sums of money, some brokers charge somewhat 15-20 lakhs per kidney but the donors get just 1-1.5 lakhs depending upon their need of money. And they are happily selling the priceless organ relentlessly. Most of the transplantation is done in Indian cities like Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, etc. The brokers forge the identification document of the donors with the receiver and prove them as their own relatives since the buying-selling of kidneys is illegal in India as well 😔😭
Don't diss them. Imagine their desperation.
Nepal people are toughest people on the earth. He will live full life with one kidney we’re we need 4 with our life style.
Not only the toughest also the most friendly and most helping I met on my world travel. I have travelled through 30 countries yet.
As a Nepali i am also very shocked🥺these things happened earlier like 5-10 years ago.

$530 for a kideny is crazy ahaha

I'm very sad about people who sell their kidneys. Sometimes, I wonder if it's wrong or not humanitarian. However, if you look at it from two perspectives, it's a complex issue. On one hand, nobody can offer you a free lunch in this world. If someone sells their kidney for money, it's not necessarily bad because it can help their family financially. But from an ethical standpoint, it's a morally complex situation."
