I'm a little sad with all of the solo work they're doing now 8( I mean, I have enjoyed a lot of the songs, like Yo Seob's album especially, plus the musicals they've been in, and Jun Hyung's new "Flower," and I guess solo work is really just a part of a band "growing up" and becoming more popular... But when you look at SuJu and Big Bang, they're still together but they don't feel as united as they used to be. I think it's coz of all the solo work and dramas, that they spend so much time apart that when they finally do have a comeback, they don't have the same unity or something? It looks like Beast is going down this path too... I'm like happy-sad coz it means Beast is getting really popular now, but also I miss the family feel of their group coz they're slowly becoming more individual and detached from one another. 8( Plus also, the solo work + dramas + group work is going to keep them really busy and really tired (gosh, they look so tired in this greeting and a lot of their other 'recent' messages) Anyone else feel this way?? (And I'm not hating on Beast, they're my #1 group in the world - I'm just... I donno... concerned or something T.T)
I couldn't agree with you more as I feel the exact same way. I love that they're getting a lot of attention and really getting out there in more than just the music field, but I miss the days of their own variety shows (even though I wasn't a b2uty then) and just more ot6 in general. It worries me so much because Beast is the first group that has really kept me interested and I've been apart of this fandom the longest. It doesn't help that I feel like Hyunseung has been really detached from the group and just kind of unhappy, just due to the how he appears in these short messages and even on variety shows (or maybe just a show, Hello Counselor I know for sure). To me, he's the happiest with Hyuna...but maybe I'm not seeing enough ot6 to make a reasonable judgement or it could be he's just tired which is a huge possibility. I could also be paranoid and looking into this all way too much. >
