Yes, he has black contacts. Geoff has trouble putting in contacts for himself and needs assistance. So he is really dedicated to the look if he does wear colored lenses, like in Ghost Riders in the Sky.
As a bass-baritone myself, Geoff is something special. I can get down to an E2, but not the way he can. When he does it it not even a note anymore, it’s like an earthquake. I’m still fairly young, so I can only hope that as my voice matures and I continue to learn how to use my low vocals, that I can one day compare to Geoff.
I think that’s the case with ALL of the members of VoicePlay, including the various artists they feature. They are all hella talented & most have crazy vocal ranges.
This is Geoff from the group Voice Play. He has a 5-octave vocal range, as does Tim Foust from the group Home Free! You should check out both the guys individual songs, as well as their group’s songs! By the way, their groups are both acapella, and are both fantastic!
It's always so much fun to watch the female reactors to geoffs videos especially for you, your face is so expressive you can tell that geoffs growl really just gets to you, a lot, it's so fun to watch, especially the subcontext to you saying he just really gets to you ❤😁
Great reaction! I think Geoff has outdone himself... which is really quite the feat! His crew deserves MAD praise as well. Everything is absolutely amazing.
I love this one from Geoff and also his version of Monster Mash! Not sure if you've seen Voiceplay's Hall of the Mountain King or Hide and Seek! Great reaction. Looking forward to your next!!
Thank you for your reaction. Next spooky reactions should be "hide and seek" by Voiceplay and Bass Gang both with Lauren Paley 😊 only if you havent already yet
Great video! I just wanted to let you know that it's lamEnt, not lamAnt. A lamentation is something that expresses great grief or sorrow. If you're familiar with the song How Can I Keep From Singing? the word is in the first verse "My life flows on in endless song / Above earth's LAMENTATION." This song is a lamentation about how things are always the same, year in and out, for Jack. He wants change but he's resigned it'll never happen.
Great reaction! I love watching Geoff bring a smile to people's faces! But I have a question...Is "Lament" (lah-meant) an uncommon word? I'm surprised at how many people seem to have never heard it before. I thought it was an everyday word, that (as a noun) means "a passionate expression of grief or sorrow." As in (noun) "Her laments for her late father" or as a verb "I'm lamenting my losses." Sorry, not trying to be an English Major Snob, just legit surprised how new this word seems to be to some people. Maybe it's a regional thing.

I think it's 100% certain that Geoff isn't human with the extreme vocal range.

That and the ease with which he switches from one extreme to the other of that range.
Something close to five octaves....first tenor all the way down to basso profundo.
Amazing cover! He is the Pumpkin King. What a performance. Thanks for the reaction.
Voiceplay owns Halloween. Great reaction.
Any of Voiceplay's or Geoff's Halloween videos are a treat with no tricks 😂
Oh, he's always got a few tricks up his sleeve.
So true. I stand corrected 😂
In VoicePlay’s This Is Halloween, the kid had tricks because they ran out of treats!

Geoff always exceeds expectations. Great reaction.

Check Geoff's Monster Mash cover !!!!
That first couple lines always make me laugh... Yes, Geoff, we do almost unanimously say you are one of the best at what you do.
I love his voice but man spooky!
I loved your reaction. I could tell by the expression on your face before you said anything. Very enjoyable. Thank you.
😊❤ this is my current favorite geoff cover song.

Amazing
Danny Elfman, the author of these songs and Geoff are a great combo!!!
You would like Voice Play, This is Halloween. Their voice characters are amazing.

Gr8 reaction.
If you can, Bump in the Night by PattyCake Productions is an amazing Halloween song.
Great reaction! I love watching Geoff bring a smile to people's faces!
