Elegant, lucid...brilliant ornamentation...these pieces are little as in short...but they are as big as the world in Halida Dinova's masterful realization.
Thank you, Robert. i sent two years ago a Cd to address you gave me, it came back as undeliverable, please send me a current address dinovahalida@gmail.com
Incredible performance and style. It is amazing to hear Bach still as relevant today as he was in the past. It is a joy to hear this music and how it touches the heart.
9:46 is Little Prelude in G Minor, BWV 929 (#10). I wish all the different preludes were broken down this way. Halida's performance of Little Prelude in G Minor is exquisite! So delicate, and while the piece is certainly not demanding or challenging for a pianist past the intermediate stage....the delicacy and emphasis and light touch really makes this my favorite version I have heard yet! The ornamentation is just right, and the final two notes just "hang" there- such suspense! Bravo!
Excellent! Thanks for posting. I can sight-read stumblingly through the easier ones and wanted to hear a real pianist play them. : ) Her interpretations are very fresh and alive. Much appreciated.
¡¡At least!!!... The twelve short preludes and fugues, complete and with the magistral execution of the sensitive pianist Halida Dinova. Very good performs, with the most pristine sense of baroqe Back peaces. Cgrtltns, and the Cosmos bless your hands for ever. RP
BWV is for Bach-Werke-Verzeichnis, a numbering system for the works of JS Bach. A numbering system is particularly useful in organizing the output of prolific composers like Bach and Mozart, Some composers may have more than one cataloging system for their works (e.g. Scarlatti has the Kirkpatrick, Longo, and Pestelli cataloging system, Haydn has the Hoboken and the Landon systems, Soler has the Rubio and Marvin, etc.)
Some of Bach's finest works are in these little preludes, fugues and fughettas; a copy of which I have with Glenn Gould playing them so wonderfully, but on cassette. I thought that I might find that someone had uploaded them by now, since I'm still unable to figure out this uploading business...Thank You!...
Phantastisch gespielt. Bravo !!!
So etwas "versickert" bei you tube zwischen psychotischen Lang-Lang Darbietungen. Schade!
juan perez rollales :) i know how 2 push buttons :) :) She is actually, phenomenal, generally provided someone doesn't bang on the keyboard to play Bach, I am happy to hear their renditions. This is one of the only places I have found the tenth prelude of this set and for that I am thankful.
I'm not sure. She seems to edge into Romantic stylings and interpretation, and it seems more authentic to work with Baroque interpretations / stylings. I could be wrong.
+Susan Nash Yes, she does, but doesn't overdo it. She's a brilliant pianist, with great technique and sensitivity. Some of her choices don't quite work for me... for instance, the tempo on the first prelude seems much too fast to my ears... and in the early going of BWV 928 in F major (mislabeled, actually starts around 8:30) there are some rubatos (or is it just inconsistent tempo?) that absolutely mystify me... like a roller coaster car nearing the top of a slope... Still, to me this a superb performance.
Ok, but listening to her, I think that she has learnt a lot from Gould's style. I like very much her way of playing, so fresh, personal, clear, well balanced.
@Bach Wagner Well, let's agree to disagree. For my taste, no one is as good as Gould. I like this musician also for Bach : Tatiana Nikolayeva. But after really listening to the whole thing, I can say that Halida Dinova is very very good as well.

Exciting and emotional with great feeling. I was practicing these pieces and she shares what they should sound like.

Beautiful Mrs. Halida, thank you very much for teaching me, I love it a lot!

I didn't know her personally but now i have one more little piece of her: Her voice when humming at 9:46 makes the prelude even more sweet.
Good job im 11 and im learning this piece i have so much to learn.😃
Keep at it. I wish you well.
absolutely brilliant

I did play them many years ago
thank you for this video :)

Muy bueno.

splendid
These 12 little pieces are way harder to learn than I thought they would be, damn....
All Bach it's hard for all levels even the Anna Magdalena pieces for the rookies are hard.

Bear Sterns es el BWV 942

BWV 999 (c minor prelude) still sounds somehow nice, but the speed is way too fast. It doesn't add to the music to play it so fast.
But you can’t change Bach’s mind
Exquisite!!!
awesome
beatiful performance !!! 05:18 prelude in D minor !!
absolutely agree. beautiful so sweet, !!
Brillante y profundo.
Creo que el siguiente ''Preludio' (E minoría) debió interpretarlo con el mismo carácter del anterior, con más 'legato' y uso del pedal.
self-note: 9:47 is the start of Little Prelude in G Minor. (The one I am currently practicing.)
very good
just i want to now what bwv number i know what mean anyway thanks for the explanation.
interesting left hand in BWV 999! A new prelude BWV 999 is available on my youtube channel. I added 8 new measures :)
muy bueno¡
Very brilliant performance of these charming and challenging works!
Brava
good sound quality. on which piano is it played ? and where ?
wow
Interesting how she swaps the parts in the first half of Prelude in G minor.
Ungewöhnlich und genial. Möchte mehr von Halida Dinova hören. So etwas "versickert" bei you tube zwischen psychotischen Lang-Lang Darbietungen. Schade!
watch it in 2 times speed ^^ so fun
5:20 BWV 940
BWV925 not correct number. That is BWV939
first rate!
7:55 BWV927
8:35
what preludes are? BWV --- ?
Bach party
Don't hear quite the magic you might from Andras Schiff but still the interpretation is great!
On second thought, I think Dinova lacks clarity in some places which is a no-no for Bach.
Bear Sterns SHUT UP !
juan perez rollales :) i know how 2 push buttons :) :) She is actually, phenomenal, generally provided someone doesn't bang on the keyboard to play Bach, I am happy to hear their renditions. This is one of the only places I have found the tenth prelude of this set and for that I am thankful.
Bear Sterns You really, really should SHUT UP
hahahahaha
I'm not sure. She seems to edge into Romantic stylings and interpretation, and it seems more authentic to work with Baroque interpretations / stylings. I could be wrong.
+Susan Nash The often grander sounding of modern piano can often lead us into a different era of musical interpretation.
+Susan Nash Yes, she does, but doesn't overdo it. She's a brilliant pianist, with great technique and sensitivity. Bit fast
Very good. But I prefer Glen Gould interpretations ... :)
I agree. But comparisons are unfair because Gould was a bit special and a very hard act to follow.
Ok, but listening to her, I think that she has learnt a lot from Gould's style.
I like very much her way of playing, so fresh, personal, clear, well balanced.
@@eppiehemsley6556 That's true. You are right, sorry. She is very good. Lots of feelings in her way of playing these preludes, very nice!

@@marcolagana5342 You are right, she's a great pianist! I just really love Gould
Okg
OVERLY STACCATO and then irregular use of legato...i didn't feel what she was trying to do.It may be who is not acculturated.
and you are an expert on how to play Bach?
Un détaché limpide.
1:46 one of the worst interpretations i heard so far
Who´s interpretation would you recommend?
I personal like the interpretation of tatiana nikolayeva.
@@pianolentiwals1862 Me too!! Personally I like this interpretation from Halida, but I'll also say that Tatiana's is the best one I know. .
