How to Fix Encryption Unsuccessful Xiaomi Redmi models on TWRP 2020

- Installing custom Roms will bring up encryption unsuccessful after install on a fresh boot if Encryption was not turned off before TWRP was installed.
This happened yesterday when I wanted to upgrade Lineage OS 16 that was installed to Pixy OS Android 10 .
So I did the fix shown in this video and install went fine so I decided to install Omni 10 with microG all went fine .. however MicroG did not work that fine for me , NPO not working / so I was let me Try E Rom from e foundation - wiped data etc installed and rebooted - Encryption unsuccessful again - so we go from there ...

every Miphone can be fixed easily go to xiaomi site and find restore flash software - if phone is locked you will need account credentials to get in
I tried the factory reset but it just keeps looping back to the encryption unsuccessful screen.
probably you did Not unlock the bootloader ?

Go in recovery and connect yo wifi and click restore update via wifi
