+bulok69 That's actually what triggers things for metahumans for DC. For Marvel its a different thing. Most people who get their powers certain sources are called mutates. Its not really explained why it might only happen to them.
+MadBros could be a 3D plane in a software such as Maya with a texture applied to it or just a CGI room created in that software or a similar one. you could do the same with after effects and just put the background as a different layer behind the actor. though you'd need Photoshop too to create the background layer in.

+Kyyp3r Radioactive stuff when the writers want it to, can give superpowers, so just assume that the stuff wouldn't normally give powers.
