I really detested "Amok Time," but the music from that episode was exceptional and used as great cues throughout season 2 to enhance other episodes I liked and loved. The word "Iconic" really fits the two main themes or cues from that episode. The only way I can make sense of it, is to say the Vulcan women were racists who detested humans and half-humans. But since Spock's family was the elite, T'Pring couldn't get out of the marriage without losing honor or resorting to extreme measures, for which both women should have been charged with attempted murder. It also doesn't make sense that he could snap out of Pon Farr with the death of Kirk unless one believes in that fan-fiction interpretation of their relationship. I also think he was being sarcastic when he replied "Logical, flawlessly logical" at the end.
Gosh, I had to chuckle. I looked back to see .. I KNOW I had started one. Hmm .. Oh yeah, I got only 4 bars into it then sidetracked. Sorry! - I will try to get back to it soon.
I am Vulcan...see my hand It is shaped just like a V Look at my ears They are pointed Just as you can see My blood is green! And My heart's a spleen And I play a mean Game of chess
This piece beautifully conveys the torment Spock lives with, that McCoy alluded to in that one clip.
This was so beautifully done. Thank you, David!
Loved the Vulcan theme in the series
Just brilliant. I'm currently in production of a full look at this episode's amazing score.

I watched that episode with my mother, she did not object when I called T'Pring a bitch.
Musically speaking, what stands out is the fight theme.
David, do you have a score for this theme that you can share?
