That was basically Carrie's reaction (both appalled and delighted, since she loves both of them, and probably has noticed the flirtation going on there), but she was grounded, and not there to be the Voice of Reason, which was intentional on the writers' part. If she'd been there, it would have played out quite differently. Cullen and Harper knew Duela before all this, and there had been tension between them--as they move towards being law-abiding citizens, they're wary of somebody who is so unashamedly oriented towards the villainous side of the equation. Not without reason, but they both handled it badly. Duela senses their hostility towards her new liaison with Turner, and starts thinking it's time to get Turner away from the Belfry, out of Gotham, before the others turn him against her. Her mother's influence. Which she will live to regret. And this in turn leads her down a new path. But somehow, I just don't see her ever being 100% on the hero side. And as you say, this is Gotham, where people switch sides all the time. It works. Well, it would have. Stupid CW.
My reaction, apparently, was to write an episodic fanfic novel, to figure out what happened next. Google "Not Offended, Duela". Would you believed they're married now? Well sure you would, it's fanfic. ;)

You know, Harper has had at least as much experience as Duela. The reactions are priceless, and yes, she's more buttoned down than Duela (because who isn't), but I still felt it was a bit over the top. I think the idea was, she's so shocked to learn what she should have already known (because DUH), she doesn't really make any effort to talk to Duela--lets her do all the talking, and as a result, no real communication occurs.
It should have been Cullen who talked to Duela, and Harper to Turner. Cullen tries the wrong tack with Turner, trying to male-bond with him over a hook-up. Turner would never ever talk to another guy (which is how he sees Cullen) about a girl he slept with. To him, that's bad form--Bruce would have drilled that into him, never brag about sex. To Duela, talking to another girl about a guy she slept with is the best possible form. She can't wait to brag about how great it was. Maybe Cullen could have gotten her to admit it was more than just sex, and she's actually frightened by how meaningful it was, and how much she now fears losing the first guy she's ever really cared about.
I think she is afraid to get cooties from Duela 😂

I'm not a big fan of the show but I would love a second season to see them together. They make a cute couple and their chemistry is hot 🔥 as hell.
That wasn't all I wanted from a second season, but I wouldn't have watched without it. I agree about the chemistry. Some would say too much. I am putting the finishing touches on an entire novel I wrote on a blog, to finish the story of The Gotham Knights. Google "Not Offended, Duela". Also, I'm not sure 'cute' is the word Duela would use. 'Hot' she'd be onboard with.
Turner has had so many bombshells dropped on him lately, that he gave up on clearing his name and focuses on enjoying himself.

Yeah, I buy that. I was a bit more bothered by Duela going from telling him how ungrateful he is to the team for saving him to telling him they don't care about him at all.
But that's because in the interim, she heard from her mother, who told her she knew a way to get the both of them out of Gotham--Duela doesn't want to leave Turner, but she doesn't really care about the other team members, even if she likes them. So she's gaslighting Turner, manipulating him into leaving with her. It's not her most attractive quality, but it's not out of character. And in the next episode, we learn a lot about where it came from.
Seeing Harper's reactions really cracked me up.

2:22. To 3:55. I Truly Adore Duela and Turner. These two truly have a lot of in Common. Both of Them were Adopted by Gotham’s Biggest Rivals (Bruce Wayne/Batman and Jack Napier/The Joker). Both were lied about their True Parents. Turner’s Parents were Criminals and Duela’s Real Father is Harvey Dent/Two Face.

That, right there, is a good question.
It wasn't a bed--just bedding--that's how they were able to move around the library. Must have snuck into the belfry after their first encounter, then back to the library for a more comfortable hook-up.
Am I the only one asking why there's a roaring fire in the fireplace? Libraries don't have fireplaces. There are good reasons for that. Books are made of paper.

While Turner basically Says Nothing because that’s how Bruce Raised him. But Duela Being The Incredible and Beautiful Bad Girl she is Doesn’t Hide It But also Tells Harper everything. Plus Harper’s Reaction Is Absolutely Hilarious.

Yeah, but she still didn't entirely trust Stephanie, until she realized Steph also had serious issues with her parentals. And it took her much longer to stop distrusting Duela, but I got here there. A chapter at a time. Google "Not Offended, Duela"

I've gotten around to introducing the Gotham Knights Selina to the story I'm writing. She's still mourning Bruce, but she has some advice to give Turner, on how to deal with a relationship with a crazy crime-girl. Who wants to reform, but if she reformed entirely, where's the fun in that? Google "Not Offended, Duela"
Interesting you say that, since in my follow-up, Selina meets Turner, tells him about her tragic romance with Bruce--gives him pointers on how to deal with loving a girl who can't be tamed. And Turner finds out he's got a sibling, though not by blood. Google "Not Offended, Duela"

Duela hasn't been sexually active for a while. I think Turner was a virgin before that night--hung up on Stephanie, not able to trust other girls, since he'd assume, not without reason, they were just interested in Bruce's money. Once Duela proved she would risk anything for him, he trusted her, and gave in to his attraction. So no danger of STD's. Unlikely she got pregnant that night., and at the show's end, that night was all that could happen between them until Turner got free of Ducard. Anyway, you can see how it all worked out--in my imagination--by Googling "Not Offended, Duela"

Because it's a school library, after hours. The real question is, why is there a fireplace in a library, and a fire going, even when nobody is supposed to be there? The answer is atmosphere, I suppose. Frankly, I think that's the one mystery on this show that can never be solved. But I solved many others. Google "Not Offended, Duela"

Just when things were getting really good--it ended. I could not accept this. So I picked up where the finale left off. Google "Not Offended, Duela" That was not the last time Turner and Duela had sex. Or the last time Duela made snarky suggestive comments afterwards, and Harper got all flustered. Girl can't help it.
