- Back to Larsen's we go. Now I have been to this location before, but I never took anybody along. So, this time not only did I bring Dyaln along, but we had the Scramblers instead of the Razors and I will say this what a blast. Not only did we find trails that I haven't been on, but the Polaris Scramblers were just as much fun, especially on the tighter winding trails.
If you're not familiar with Larsen's I recommend checking it out. Park opens at 9am and closes at 5 pm and for $25 and a signature on a waiver away you go. They have the largest One room cave on property and plenty more to see. Trails rating from easy to medium to some rather difficult divided between several sections of their property. I’ve been meaning to get out to Larsons. I’m just in the Janesville Area. Sucks I don’t understand why Wisconsin clubs aren’t opening trails.
It's worth the trip. Place isn't huge, but there is enough to keep you occupied for the day. I second the trails opening. I know some places opened everything up but closed back up with recent snow. Local businesses could use the income that's for sure.
Im over here in Eau Claire and no one is opening anything at all until May 1st. The only thing open is the rail road trails and Buffalo state park trail that starts in mondovi. It's gunna be 60s with multi 70 degree days, open some trails. I'm sure a ton of us want to go riding. I'd like to get break in done on my atv in rock lake and other trails nearby before I start traveling to ride. Sucks to be at the mercy of the clubs at times. 🫤
