Keep going, man. Programming is not what these tiktokers sell to the people. Programming is theory and a lot of practice, and it takes time, but if you keep your focus you will eventually get there. Greetings from 🇧🇷 based software engineer that works for a big company.
Yeah I have noticed that there is an incredible amount of hype around technology and software in general and I feel it leads to a lot of misinformation. Also can someone please tell my fellow cs majors that llms won't make you a good programmer!!!!
@@gavinmce660 I don't know about your country, but in my there are many ads about IT and a lot of many programming courses. @@zylan9009 Hello, it depends on which area you want to specialize, if you don't have no idea, then I would recommend you Python since it's simple and has a lot of uses. One channel I recomend is Bro code Remember, consistency is the key
@@zylan9009 it really doesn't matter. Find a specific thing you want to do with programming and then choose a language with the most information about that topic. Want to make games? C++, C# and Java have the most information about game programming. want to make websites? Javascript and php have probably the most information. Keep in mind that you can do anything with any coding language. But Choosing a more well known language will probably be less of a headache for a you since you are a beginner.
You make me realize how essential it is to confront the market from the beginning and continuously, the advantage of knowing the expectations of companies in all their variety is so valuable! It allows you to always better understand the expectations of the market, and to take the right direction towards the best skills and the best offers!
You should look at some Vim scrolling commands for vertical and horizontal scrolling. CTRL+D, CTRL+U, etc. Also for line navigation, like f (, F (, jumping around brackets with %. I'd also consider what is in demand on the current market. I'm not sure how much demand there is for C++ and Vulkan programming. I suppose there is quite a lot of C++ demand from companies doing Internet of Things products. I do know that there's a lot of demand for web developers (but good ones... There's a lot of web devs, but most of them are bad).
You would have more chances to get an internship/job faster if you choose JavaScript, Java, PHP or Python instead of C++ but anyway, in the end programming skills is what matters most, not languages.
I appreciate the no music, it's much better to have pure background sound of this rather than music playing. It is fairly difficult to hear you, but as you don't talk for most of the video, it's not too much of a biggy. Keep working hard, you'll land a job/internship in no time by proving your interest and excitement within the field.
If you look at the videos that you have shared, the one with the colorful trianlge has more than 2K views. You can do something like that where you put better images to get more views and have the algorithm push your videos more. Perhaps
