I can’t believe how tough this thing sounds! That part after the 5:00 minute when you start driving it!?!? Absolute perfection! To me that’s what I want it to sound like for hard crunchy parts. I imagine my baritone and in the opposite direction my lap steel will both sound killer through it and I am about to buy one. Just curious what amp I’m going to run in stereo with it… I’ve traditionally used Deluxe’s but I’m focusing on different stuff now and redoing my setup. What did you run in stereo with it or do you? Would LOVE to find a Selmer Treble & Bass to put with it or maybe an old Garnet BTO.
Hey Lance, I've been looking at these amps... but, did I hear echo especially at the end of the demo? I know the amp does not have a reverb channel, so did you add effects?
Lance! Great demo and I love the El Kel, but if y'all could remember t silence your cell phones during the filming of future videos, I'd be much obliged to ye. Cheers!
I've got a Supro Thunderbolt 35 watt Class A with 1-15 inch speaker. Takes pedals very well.

Great amp. Our bass player in 1966 played bass through the 1x15 it was sold as a bass amp. but i played guitar on it, KILLER .
Wow this amp is awesome. That's a lot of amp for basically the price of a reissue Fender. Sweet.
It has great built in reverb and delay as well
2 questions: 1: is this the + model?
2: is it loud enough to gig with? (And if so, at what wattage settings?)
DrCowinabox loud enough for gigs.ive gigged with a 15 watt fender bass breaker head
Plug n play, great sounding amp thanks for the video.
Wow! That is a killer amp.
I'm sold! Killer tone.
Man the bass on that amp! I love it! I'll wait til a barely used one pops up for 3-400 less and grab it
+Brad Carroll lol good luck with that
one just popped up here in st louis for 1000 bucks . if i ever see one for under 500 im on it. great amp
is that an octave distortion?

Damn it...my gas was sleeping for years :)
This brand makes amazing amps..... Buddy Holly played one apparently
Buddy Holly NEVER played a Supro.. he played Fender Pro’s and Fender Bassman’s. He owned a Magnatone 280 but never played it live.
This is NOT a Supro Thunderbolt. It is a Supro Thunderbolt + and there is a big difference.
Missy Victoria oh shut up seriously
Nice amp....but you can still get the originals for less!
...and it is NOT a class "A" amp- never has been.....
the originals will break down plus because of the way its wired its can not be use its a law look it up . I just brought the new one and I research it
