Great Video! Thank you, super helpful. Also, to clear up the three sensors you mentioned in this video. The sensor immidiatly after the intake filter box is a MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor). The sensor that plugs into the intake manifold is the MAP (Mass Air Pressure) sensor. The sensor on the tube between the intercool and manifold is the tempurature sensor.
Thank you so much for this video. I am basically rebuilding my engine right now, because it decided to blow up my turbo, not the engine, and I remove the exhaust manifold, and there was this tube, I didn't know where it went, and I watch this video, and you help me out, find where I went, so thank you very much for not giving me a panic attack.
Exactly what I was stuck on. Thank you. And I somehow how one extra nut; one extra 10 bolt and an 8 bolt. Now the fun part of figuring were those belong
could you tell me if it makes a difference if the main vacuum line and the one to the actuator get swapped around.. Is this simply a vacuum chamber that they plug into
Have you eliminated the vacuum box at all and just ran the vacuum line to the solenoid like an actual traditional turbo setup? My stupid hoses keep popping off on highways going upgrade 🗻 Reason I ask is because im under the assumption that that reservoir is there because the vaccume pump pulls more inhg that what a car can do itself and that box brings it to a balance. Its so fucking stupied that there’s no nipple at the ends of the barbs on the vaccume resivor so the stupied hose doesn’t come off and so you can put a zip tie or hose clamp on the stupied thing. But know that I think of it Evan more it has dot airline shoved into a 2 inch hose that gos to the Resivor so the nipple grabs probably wouldn’t do anything anyways. Idfk mannn jbweld around dot airline fittings to the box and solenoid to just run hard lined I think Because every barb that the vaccume lines run too are different fucking sizes bro like a 2 year old designed this shit so Evan running real rubber vacuum lines instead of that NOODLE SHIT wouldn’t work just because of that
Hi, I'm having the exact same issue, car through a check engine light on Monday, and after loads of investigation I have found both the lines have come off the vacuum chamber, did you figure out a way to keep them attached despite the lack of any barbs?

Good clear photography and well defined descriptions. A must see for r56 owners
This is gold !! Thank you very much ! I love the zip ties to secure those lines . I'll do that on my R56 n18 tomorrow
Thank you this video was very helpful, I am replacing my vacuum lines this week
Thanks so much brother this is exactly what I need to put back the vacuum lines.
I've been looking everywhere for this thank you so much!!
Thanks for doing this video, helped me a lot. It was exactly what I needed

Great vid n alot of help. Thank you
Thanks man helpful video 👍
Very welcome!
HELLO, good information thanks. How do you like the MAMBA turbo? Are you tuned for it and if so what's your HP?
Thanks bro.
could you tell me if it makes a difference if the main vacuum line and the one to the actuator get swapped around.. Is this simply a vacuum chamber that they plug into
What's your take on that Mamba turbo upgrade? Yay/Nay?
Absolutely love it! Best upgrade with the tune. Currently at stage 3 at 25lbs of boost
@joezyamahar1 Is that on stock internals? Where you get your tune? I have the Mamba turbo also😊
How did it do? Did the motor stay in one piece?
Yes
Thx, I was wondering where the hell the wastegate was...
