    Don’t care for his teaching style. Somewhat condescending and hate the constant Q+A testing of a student.

    • @ThePrincepiggy
      @ThePrincepiggy Рік тому +2

      I think a lot of golfers need this style, because they already carry an “I’m right and I’m talented” mindset. This is a competitive advantage but stands in their way in a learning environment so that have to be force fed a bit. You could see how stubbornly she wanted to watch the ball instead of look at the swing to see whether she did it right or not. A softer approach wouldn’t get thru as well

      I like the way he questions the player. He does so to make the player think and understand what they are doing. Therefore, the player is armed with the information they need to make adjustments when they are on there own. Perfect Mr McCormick!!,

      And I saw several pitch shots that led to pars and birdies and I think it is the direct result of her lesson with Cameron !!!

      Yes, he needs to make his speech slower and clearer, especially for someone like Celine, whose English is good, but it's not her first language. He talks like the guy sitting next to you in a bar raving to nobody in particular.

    Awesome session. Right down to the exact minute on the clock. The conversation between Cameron and Celine was excellent. Challenging, but still respectful. No thin skinned nonsense, just pushing to get better.

    Putting this into my game. The feel of acceleration/speed being the same is neat. My distance control is better and i have been able to quickly hone in on what clock positions equate to what distances for eaxh wedge. Easy to implement. Is used to be a 1/2, 3/4, full guy. The clock method is better. Easy to get the feel right as part of a preshot routine too.

    So interesting that even at the highest of levels, athletes are somewhat all the same... impatient to just "do" and get it going haha, but I like how Cameron grabs the athlete's attention with his teaching style.

    This video reminds me of the lessons I get from Jenny Park-Choi, (Walnut Creek, CA). I'm getting a wedge gapping lesson on 4/25 and I'm sure we'll be working on range of motion. Really looking forward to it.

I will club down and see how that works for me. I do have a 56 sand wedge I can use. My lob is 60 degrees and I think I won’t be able to get enough distance with the 60. Thanks so much.
