Systematic process with scientific explanation to propel ourselves to the peak performance state
I feel like every homemaker needs to watch this, especially moms. I'm working on building my skills to create my own business, but so much of this resonates with my struggles keeping my home. I think the piece that tends to be overlooked is that yes it takes longer to teach someone else how to do a thing than it does to do it yourself. However, in the long run it leaves you doing everything so nothing gets done. On the business side though, I'd really love to see some content on how to build a trustworthy team. When I have had employees I've struggled with them just not completing the tasks or spending hours on a ten minute task. Idk if I'm making poor hiring decisions or what and so idk how to solve the problem.
I swear this guy’s videos are in a rare language known as Yappanese
Actually FLOWanese
You have summarized what it is to manage a team in 20 minutes. Nicely done!
The speaker shares their personal experience of feeling trapped in their business, struggling to balance responsibilities and feeling overwhelmed, and how they became a bottleneck by micromanaging. They discuss the importance of transitioning from being a "musician" (doing the work themselves) to a "conductor" (leading and empowering others), highlighting the challenges of letting go of personal satisfaction and identification with the work. The speaker emphasizes the need to delegate tasks, relinquish control, empower team members, and adapt to their needs to achieve true impact and unlock potential.
Awesome video, i love the structure of your videos, very engaging. I think this will help promote long form content and bring value to people. Great stuff!
This is your best video yet! I could actually concentrate the valuable information and not be overwhelmed by the music and edits.
Thanks!
Great vedio Ryan, this was the exact reminder I needed right now. I will set a reminder to re watch this 2 more times this year. ✨
Rian you are very inspiring, I've watched every video you've made except shorts

Also, I can't wait for your upcoming book! Keep up the amazing work, you're making a real difference in the world.
im very professional, and good in a lot of things, now i realize how team members constantly try to make me theire everything-musician.
now i see how i thrived to become a everything musician. pretty eye opening, lets see how it goes from here...
Even as a one-man-show business owner, it's been hard to get past what I called employee mindset (musician) I had to learn it's ok and necessary to make time to focus on administrative tasks and not just productivity tasks. I told a friend of mine I didn't get work done one day. When she asked me why I gave her a list of tasks (organizing storage space, cross posting, updating sold items, etc) She informed me well isn't all of that related to your business? That's when I realized I still had employee/musician mindset and didn't realize how much was involved with having a business...
What does it mean by administrative tasks? Btw I don't run a business.
@@razminm.3260 I resell clothing so anything that's not taking pictures and getting listings live (the production tasks that increase revenue). Administrative for me includes organizing inventory and storage space (it's necessary to stay effective and find inventory when it sells but it doesn't affect revenue), keeping spreadsheets updated (necessary to know item numbers and if an item has sold, also necessary for knowing what's most profitable, and having organized profit and loss at tax - but doing it doesn't increase revenue), research (it can help increase profit per item but if someone only did research and didn't put any items active there wouldn't be revenue) basically my "employee" tasks are taking photos scheduling and listing items - those are the actions that if I could only do that my revenue would grow and if I didn't do them at all my revenue would come to a halt no items to sell means buyers can't buy what I have and money doesn't come in. The specific tasks would be different for different types of businesses.
Great concepts and presentation of them!
Sir Doris , I have a humble appeal to you . Will you please elaborate how to complete the struggle phase and the release phase in the flow cycle ? Im stuck at it and I cannot implement it .
As a musician myself, loved the metaphor.
Same!
The power of delegation. You only have so much mental capacity/energy every day.
If you have a team, delegate work. If you’re a solo creator/business, systemize your processes to reduce mental capacity/energy you’re using to complete tasks.
The Flow Research Collective's neuroscience-based protocol sounds like a game-changer for entrepreneurs! 🚀 Transitioning from being a "musician" to a "conductor" in business is crucial for scaling and achieving long-term success. It's all about empowering your team and focusing on the big picture.
As a Musician this was very satisfying
Could you please provide guidance on learning new things? I've recently joined a new organization as a DevOps engineer and am feeling overwhelmed with all the technologies and tools I need to learn while handling my tasks.
By the way, I've learned a lot from your videos. Keep up the good work. Thank you so much.
Cool video and loved the new editing style
I need to enter a state of flow just to watch this damn video there is so much rambling
I much prefer this calm vibe to the high octane one sometimes
Please do a video on Learning, Skill Development, Mastery
watch doctor k.
I love you.
This video plays like one of those late night infomercials 😂
I don’t know how but whenever I'm going through a psychological situation or facing any issue regarding my mental health or productivity, you upload a video with the solution at that very moment. How dude?
Salutes from Türkiye, thanks Rian.
Could you summarize the main ideas of the video?
Looks like your editor has changed. Personally its harder for me to focus here. Still ploughing through it cause the info is valuable!
People in these comments are dumb. He repeats some facts because there is a different angle of why these ideas are relevant. I honestly think it's laid out fairly well. Thank you Ryan
This video scaled down 'the quick clips to hold retention'
Basically the advise is: "start your buisness lmao", thanks, very useful
Aaa- People who worship a summarize 😊
@@ekadria-bo4962 I mean this guy literally says that being an "effective manager" while others do work for you is cool, and those who are actually working have some "wrong mindset".
A joke I heard, told by the conductor (in my language, it is called a maestro) at an orchestral concert I went:
A man goes to a pet shop to buy a parrot, and asks to the clerk: How much does this parrot cost?
Clerk: 100.
Shopper: And this one?
Clerk: 100 also.
Shopper: And the other?
Clerk: 1000.
Shopper: 😮1000 ????? Why?!
Clerk: I've never seen it doing anything, but the other two call it conductor!
❤
feedback: subscribed since january 2024. Every time I see the subscription bar notification, I expect to see a new video. Instead it's 2 weeks of short reruns and 1 video. This one was great, but I dread getting another 2 weeks of shorts and fake notifications. until yt fixes this, unsubscribed for everything
Accelerate, exponential, strategic, neuroscience, performance. That’s the simple secret they don’t want you to know.

I saw the title and thumbnail change for a third or fourth time lol, why is that?
Hey Rian , very good video . I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think ?
is this video made for ceo? not studnets?
did you just change the thumbnail or im tripin
i don't want to be a conductor yet
I am 17 can I somehow work with u ?😊
Come brutally criticize my chill beats
22 comments in 2 hours bro fell off- *gets shot 22 times in the arteries.*
ok but fr, nice! another vid. :D
we're getting real close to 300K too. :o
This guy literally says that being an "effective manager" while others do work for you is cool, and those who are actually working have some "wrong mindset".
as the CEO you’re a conductor not a musician, you shouldn’t be playing any music yourself, also: work ON the business not IN the business
@@EdvinG there are 2 options: either we all should become CEOs, or this video is completely useless for 99,9% of people
@@mrsato7508more people are working for themselves these days with the advancement of different technologies and software. If you are stuck in the employee mindset i’m confused why you are watching videos like this
@@mrsato7508it’s the second option, most of the people who are watching this are probably aspiring to have a business one day though
Hey Rian,
Do you have a coaching program,
If yes how much is it
Is it ok to read in bed?
Most probably not. The last video talks about how bed needs to be dedicated only for sleeping (and sex) to rewire your brain to sleep easier and enter flow tomorrow. Personally, I started reading and using my phone on the couch.
@@razminm.3260👍
You repeat a lot.
There’s always new people seeing his videos he kinda has too
Hearing something more than once helps the information to set in properly in your brain, probably the reason for the repetition as these videos are instructional
And still you're stuck , get it why he repeats ?
I don't understand this video. What is this💀😑
Yea it feels that way at first,
Welcome aboard
It's for smart people.
@@navjotsinghdhiber3454 LOL nice joke
It’s about learning how to be a leader that focuses on the business and not on doing the tasks of the business, like a conductor. And letting your team to be one that lifts the business even without your direct involvement so that you don’t bottleneck it with your limited time and energy (allow them to be the star, the musician)
That's because you didn't watch it in flow state 😂😂😂
Pause more. Breathe. When you go on and on and say the same things in different ways without stopping, it gets to the point where I zone out and no longer give a crap what you’re talking about. I’d watch an unedited, uncut video of you explaining and thinking out loud about the concepts you’re trying to put out there. I just can’t stand your droning on and the editing is pointless - stick to the concepts and talk about it. Don’t lecture. Lecture is the most boring thing ever
