- "Last summer, during my journey to explore the unparalleled beauty of the Black Sea region, I had the opportunity to spend time again with Abdullah Amca. This documentary emerged entirely spontaneously. It narrates the story of a man, Abdullah Amca, who reflects on old times, nourishes himself organically, and leads a peaceful life alone on this mountain, independent of the outside world, through his daily activities.
In this documentary, we question the deep contrast between the chaos and stress of city life, filled with the complexities of modern living, and a free and peaceful life intertwined with nature, through the simple lifestyle of Abdullah Amca. Is true happiness and peace found among the high rises in cities, chasing after a good salary, or is it in embracing a simple and free life amidst nature?
The lifestyle of Abdullah Amca perhaps symbolizes a way of living that the modern world has forgotten but truly longs for. Watching, I realized that I too crave the simplicity and peace in Abdullah Amca's life in my own. Maybe the real 'primitiveness' increasingly reveals itself in our city lives as we move further away from nature and simple living.
This documentary not only tells the story of Abdullah Amca but also offers us an opportunity to reflect on what life means and what could be the source of true happiness. It challenges us to find our own happiness and peace without getting lost in the chaos of city life. Enjoy watching."

What a wonderful documentary on Abdullah Amca life in high mountains of the Black Sea region!! The very first thing I noticed was the beautiful, dark and rich soil for planting. I can imagine how that soil smells as I watched you both cultivating the ground, it is a deliciously heady perfume to me.
I agree that growing one's own foods without pesticides and using natural compost and/or manure is the best. I love planting, growing and eating my own foods. Abullah Amca is correct in that even 'organically grown' foods are not always truly organically grown when there are pesticides flying in the wind. I also find a very peaceful zen energy when I garden, it feels good to work the soil and tend my plants. I've already begun to start planting too.
The landscape there is breathtakingly wonderous and I would also have had a very hard time leaving it behind.
I wonder how Abullah Amca lives when there deep winter snow? He is very knowledgable and skilled to have lived in the highlands for so long. I love how he carved his own spoon!

Hello friend. Believe me, that smell is still in my nose :) The soil was really very fertile and it was in a beautiful location. Uncle Abdullah is a man who produces his bread from the soil and he has been doing this since his childhood. I like this situation very much and I see myself as Uncle Abdullah in the future. It is so beautiful and natural. Believe me, it was very difficult to leave such an environment, and as you said, even working and breathing in this view is very special and beautiful.
