(2022) I once tried using Windows 7 with 500% scaling at 800x600. In normal mode, I couldn't even reach Display Settings on the desktop context menu. It turned out safe mode needed to be entered for scaling to be changed back.
fyi: having no maximize window button in a gtk based de (gnome, cinnamon, unity etc.) basically means that screw you we cannot make that window fit your monitor.
my screen of tiny10 system is 4:3. Very low quality only 800*600 Even if used the regedit, the minimum quality still displayed is 4:3,such as 640*480 , 400*300 There is no options of minimum image quality "640*360",sad how do you done that in win10 ??
I like how stuff kind of works here unlike the 320x200 one
If you're a gamer. It would be smart to play games in 640x360(nHD). If you have a 1080p or 4k TV. It will match up exactly. No need to kill the GPU.
Agreed, although some games have their window bigger then 640x360 and unresizable, but yeah, good point

How did you do this in Windows XP? (Virtualbox guest additions). Is it the same concept as this video: ua-cam.com/video/bh_koEWkhTc/v-deo.html ?
Basically just manually resize the VM window to 640x360.
Oh and thanks for the immediate response
@@World_of_OSes do you have to check in settings if it shows perfectly 640x360?
VMware shows a tool-tip while resizing the window.
320x200 is easier to set because you just resize the window until it won't go any smaller.

What if you set dpi to 20 while in 4k
Please try Windows on phone resulotions (1080x2340, 1080x1920)
i don't think that's possible on landscape orientation
No you can
how can i use the 1280x1024 resolution on a 1920x1080 monitor without having blur screen?
Idfk
You can't without black bars
cpu finally become gud
i think you shoud get a least a 1280:768 monitor because 640:360
is to low
Next what happens if I set the resolution to 1440p at 250% scale
Why?
Why does windows on a vm show 8 monitors
Only Vista showed 8 monitors. Windows 7 showed 3. Windows 8 and above only showed 1.
