Oh my gosh that clocks size reminds me so much of the grandmother clock I grew up with. Ours was older as it was inherited, n a bit wider but remeniscent of it. Awww. Such nice memories. Thank you. That really brought me back to lovely times in the room where the clock was.
Beautiful clock! I really enjoyed hearing more about your clock work, and channel on the podcast video you and Amy shared on Freaking Frugal. It’s fascinating that you repair clocks for your customers for free. I like the arrangement you’ve come up with, very smart!
Another pretty clock. I had a I believe a Westminster several years ago left by previous owner . The door on front was loose but it still would stay put. It had the prettiest chime. One day it just quit and I threw it out. Wish I had kept it. I am pretty good at fixing things. Replacement was like $80. Thanks for the video
Nice modern clock with its high gloss and slick brass. All these type clocks are reminders of my past. Grandma's and Great grandma's homes, sleeping at night. Soothing like the rumble of a fan oscillating.
Here I go, my eyes are getting heavy, everytime I here your clocks my eyelids drop. Until they chime them I am awake again. You are feeling sleepy .......in all seriousness thank you for sharing your passion. x
What a wonderful color. It is very beautiful and so shiny I love that. And I also love to here my clocks. That clock I would be watching everything move on it. Very beautiful. Thank you for sharing with us.
You sure know your clocks, thanks for the information. Nice sounding clock. Nice looking clock too. Do you ever get hypnotized by the ticktock of the clock or find it tranquil?
I was thinking maybe it was called a skeleton clock because of the windup key kinda looking like the old skeleton keys.🗝️ Thanks for showing us this beautiful clock, it has a wonderful chime & relaxing tic tox 🕰️very peaceful.
This clock is amazing Mr Clock Guy it sure would send Me to sleep watching the pendulum going back and forth and you did an amazing job taking apart , cleaning and rebuilding it. X
Dwight. Lol just kidding , your wife said she used to call you Dwight a lot in the beginning. Do find many clocks at thrift stores, yard sales? Have you seen Back To the Future. Doc had a lot of clocks also, mainly moving eyeball clocks.
I've been searching for a large wall clock that chimes a melody on rods but chimes the hour on a coil gong, but I've had no luck. Where could I find such a rare specimen?
Very pretty clock,I love skeleton clocks,I love being able to see what's going on with the movement etc,I bought the see through Swatch watch when they first came out because I loved seeing the insides 😀
The cabinet and key are similar to an older clock I inherited. Mine was purchased in the 20's...I think. I was going to send a pic of it, it hasn't worked in 20 years or more. Are we to send pics to Amy's email addy? Or do you have your own?
Can I pick your brain please....I have a grandfathers ⏰ . I don't have the weights in right. Only one is dropping. Also my chimes arnt working. Any suggestions?????
🚩QUESTION BELOW☟ Comment first....Thanks for the video. I have learned so much from watching them. Q: Not sure if this would help your channel, have you thought about labeling the videos as educational?
I agree with you. They stopped making good clocks in the 1920s. Prior to The Depression clockmakers produced clocks designed to last hundreds of years, not just until the warranty ran out.
