      This is probably one of the remotest sites I have visited. The weather wasn't that great when I was there for landscape observations.

    Is it circular or U-shaped? I visited a site between Thurson and Wick (Achevennach?) and it appear U-shaped with itss apex toward a hill in a southerly direction. Does this one have any alignment? Thank you.

      I have made a film on the site you mentioned, The Great U of Stemster. I think there is a hill range which can be seen from Pobuil Fhinn, I couldn't see it when I was there because of the bad weather.
