Thanks so much for all the informative videos you do! We plan to redo a bed beside our house that is about 4 feet wide. I’ve been telling my husband that it needs to be much wider, and now I have a great video to show him why and how much better it can look. Also, we’re big fans on Natures Willow products! Love the pain relief cream and patches as well as the itch relief cream.

I love the Nature’s Willow pain relief cream. Not only is it good for the arthritis in my hands, but I can also put it on my forehead for a headache. I would love to try some of the other products. 😊

Love how you begin with the anchor trees/shrubs with winter interest and build on that. Then you move on to the ”good stuff”. 🤣🤣🤣😊

My newish garden bed looks kinda like your #2. I also worked around windows with small cedars, although I realized later that I could have gone for something that just loses its leaves in winter when I mostly use the basement anyway and want more light. I have had the same experience with Snow Hill Salvia, a long bloomer and so far has kept its shape better than the other salvias. I love it.
My favorite design was #3, #2, then #1. I loved seeing how the shapes change the curb appeal. I get creative like that all the time but my husband isn't as adventurous as I am. You showed a few plants I will need to introduce in my garden, zone 8B in Washington State. With the give away, I thought, I'm not going to win so why comment....I'm giving it a shot, thank you!
I love these ideas. Bed 3 is my favorite. I have a front landscape that desperately needs redone. I will definitely consider some of these plants and shrubs!

Thanks for the helpful advice on the minimum width for the bed. I really like the taller anchors too. Garden #2 and 3 are my favs!
Please note that 12-14' is not necessarily the minimum width, I did not say that. It is all dependent on what your are planting. In my opinion, and again this is my opinion, 4' is too narrow for any kind of decent size shrub or mixed border with layers. How wide the bed is, is about WHAT are you putting in the bed and how much room do you need. That is what determines how wide it should be

Oh boy cld I use some of that Natures Willow…all the wood cutting I did yesterday for our boiler, wld feel fantastic! Great ideas on these garden bed choices!!! I’m totally stealing some of those plans!
Loved your garden bed designs! Maybe I need to get rid of the weedy grass between my hedges of Azaleas and my garden beds out front. Put mulch down and stepping stones. Thanks for the idea!! Love Natures Willow patches and cream. Didn't know about the bath soak, itch cream and large size. My right shoulder from my neck down my shoulder is constantly achy and the cream and patch work great. I need those extra large patches which I have not seen!!

Love the hydrangeas in number 1 but I think homeowner would love number 2 as you mentioned this is only area she can have a garden and I would choose this option. Maybe you could place a hydrangea in there also😁

Love options 2 and 3. I moved to a new home with no flower beds so this helps a lot. There is deer pressure here so hoping there are roses and hydrangea options that I can use.
Thank you for the front yard design options. I am moving two large gold thread cypresses from my front garden to the back border garden. I think I might replace them with mugo pines for the long term. The house is a small one level, so for scale I am looking for an evergreen which won't get too large. I have roses, Little Hottie Hydrangeas, peonies, iris, sedum, herbs, annuals and perennials n the front garden.
