Thank you so much for the video, it really assisted a lot. After watching the video, I went and checked my IPDM and found out that it was actually my EGI fuse that was blown, I replaced it and now the problem is gone. Thanks.
I do wish I had seen your vid sooner. Every video I had seen prior shown the wrong box ( not the old white one ) I have a 2010 SE 4x4 frontier. the relay on the top right is the ignition. The relay top left was my nightmare - my truck was bucking & a chucking all the idiot lights would come on and outright die while driving. those relays are part # 284b7-cw29e for anyone else that finds your video.
I have the same problem. I have a 2002 Nissan 4 by 43.36 cylinder. I got electricity power, everything, but it just won't start. It's clipped everything lights up. Can't find out and check the realizes. It's a click, but I haven't got too deep into it but i'm watching your video
Hey John thanks for video. I have the 05 Frontier 4.0. It says for a week and then noticed no charge light and brake light intermittent . I wonder if it’s related to this or did that year have similar issue . Voltage on battery shows 14.3 when charging but then stops altogether . Turn off and on and it’s comes back momentarily .
Have having the same issue with a 2004 Infiniti QX56 I've pretty much at the same as you all the way around my radio didn't work I changed out the fuse box in the white ones and salvage yard then all the sudden my radio started working but could not get it to start I've had issues a little bit through the time so I've had it that the starter and I thought you needed a starter I bought starter but then found out that they have an issue with the connection and it's usually the ECM relay switch is for the three top ones were that 3 of them next to each other when we left usually the problem at this time I have I have changed the relay out many of times everything I've worked for me for a while but now it's not working for me any longer I put the black box back in and now it wont do anything LOL I can't even get the diagnostics team to work just like you so I am waiting to see what you have left to turn up on it if I have anything I can find myself I will send let you knowthe one thing that I did notice in your video was that you called deep fuse box decn and that is incorrect DCM is the little black box sitting next to his mounted up long enough in the corner sitting straight up and down that's your brain and the black box is considered the ipdm and the relay is a problem supposedly but like you said that they said that they never seen the black boxes feel yet but you and me both are having the same issue almost by the same time I'm beginning to wonder if it has anything to do with the radio issue because you yourself said you had just replaced the radio while was just was out while you were having this issue mine wasn't working at all and then after I replace the the ECM and IPdm my radio started working but I still nothing I'm looking into the neutral safety switch possibly also because now all of a sudden my shifter will not come out of park regards how would I put on a break or not but he could have something to do with supposably
My 1014 Frontier has a ghost in it. No keys in the ignition and radio comes on. Then it doesn't start, no lights, no sounds. Suddenly headlights turn on and off, dash lights won't turn off. Seems like the computer won't shut down, no keys in the ignition, can hear noise in under the hood, still won't start. Now it starts, dash is apart and I'm driving it but now it's acting fine. Hard to fix it when it's not acting funny.
I wish this was the case in my situation, but unfortunately I have to dig into my transmission and remove and replace my TCM that's connected to my valve body.
@@johnfreeze3021 lol yeah so it's going to the dealership for a diagnostic test. Might cost me $100-$200 for one bit I can always refuse service and do the work myself....I'll keep you posted as to what it was ......thanks

@@johnfreeze3021 good morning, yeah I took it in for a diagnostic test and it came back saying that it were the ECM. I thought it were my transmission which I had a warranty on, but turns out it were the ECM. I got mine done for just $1300 at my local AAMCO dealer
Can these black fuses come out ? Or are they deeply connected to the board? Can I simply replace the fuse by itself or if one goes out all of them needs to be replaced
they're relays. you can pull them out, and you can find some replacements online. you can't get them from nissan, however. they will refuse to sell them individually. i just tried today. without a tool to pull them, you can jam picks in on both sides and pull with needle nose pliers or mini channel locks. top right is the starter relay, fyi.
Was it hard to get the harness connectors out for you too? I got like 3 of these undone and the rest are like pulling teeth. Broke the clip on 1 already, hope its not a huge deal and I can still get it out
2008 Nissan Titan LE. With the light switch in the Off position, and I turn the ignition to the On position, I get a relay click sound on the passenger side under the dash. I get the cooling fan come on and the lights come on, no crank, no start. I checked the starter and it works when I run 12 Volts to the signal wire behind the intake manifold. I changed out the BCM, ECM, and IPDM, and I got the same problem. Anyone here know what my fix is?
I have a 2005 Frontier. I did all the testing I could. When you only get a click sound when you try to start, it's your starter relay in the fuse box. See diagram behind fuse box cover
There's a really simple and easy way to check starter on these vehicles since to change starter you have to take off intake manifold. would suck to change started and then it would not be it.
have you made any progress? I'm at the beginning stages of working on my gf's sister's frontier with the same issue. I replaced her battery about a week ago when she said she had to keep jumping it, and it was fine until yesterday. now the starter solenoid clicks one time, and that's it. i've replaced the starter, and swapped the starter relay on the ipdm, and nothing. i get 12+ to the starter, and again, just one click from the solenoid.
@@hivmonster i had already replaced the IPDM and still no start / crank. If I knew what I knew now, I'd had diagnosed with a OBDII Breakout Box. Have you hooked up ODB scanner? If so, what codes you get?

What caused the fuse box to burn in the first place? Did it ever burn again after you replaced it?

It's not the brain.... It's the power distribution block that has all the fuses and relays. It's the equivalent of your homes breaker box.
