We lived in Sebastian in the 90’s. It was always Vero Beach /Sebastian then. Shocked at the size of Palm Bay now and continued lack of amenities. It’s still Vero lol
I grew up in Palm Bay. If you'd like to know what it's like, imagine a pregnant woman smoking while some guy wants to fight because you made eye contact.
Turkey Creek Wooden Railroad Tressel. Back in the early 30s, a group of criminals were traveling North with a posse on their tail. An ambush was setup at the Tressel and when the party went to cross it, they were all shot dead by law enforcement.
My husband and I are definitely looking to move to the Palm Bay area in a few months. We currently live in another state and will want to rent first and the rental prices look much better in Palm Bay.
@lboogie1884 you will. Especially now that they're gonna build the Brightline station there. Hop on the train and go! There is so much else around there, too. I was thinking of moving back there myself. Used to live there 35 years ago. See you there!🏝
Couldn’t agree more! It’s just getting less affordable as time goes on, so it’s important to know these alternative areas that aren’t too far from Vero.
On the extreme SW corner of PB is the Compound. It was a failed real-estate venture from way back in to the 50s. It is low land. Stay away from this area.

Great video Andrew!
Thanks brother!
Amazing video Andrew.
All thanks to you, brother! Can’t thank you enough for your amazing editing skills
Nice video. I think for families Vero Beach is better, there are more options for schooling and great schools in the area.
Thanks for the feedback! I love my hometown, and that’s exactly where I’m raising my family
But where is the fun, child-free area? Palm Bay?

Such a cool story! Thanks for sharing
We're coming to check out vera beach. Definitely looking for smaller feel
Shoot me an email and I’ll send you the Visit Indian River County magazine

There's a reason for that. It sucks, desolate, lack of green but lots of old concrete. You won't like it.
@user-oz6hf1he6f Lol, we ended up finding a place in Cocoa. I hope we like there, but if not we'll move in a year.

Great info
Thank you!
Great video 👍
Thank you!
Excellent video Andrew, thank you!
Vero is better. This man is young. Better is Merritt Island Florida. Banana river drive. Merritt is closer to everything.

I used to go out here all the time! People have definitely found a way to ruin it…
