It's peaceful in Vero and needs to stay that way.
The mall hurts because there was so many good options to go to. But now its just empty. And the outlet is also kind of dead

Love your videos. We bought in Sebastian in 2022 but still like to watch. Always informative. I will tell you that I have found it hard to make friends here in Sebastian as well, however it doesn’t help that I work from home. Met some neighbors. But still waiting to meet my Florida bestie. Lol. You know for pedi’s, hair appointment, shopping and beach days! 😂
I’m the same way! One of the biggest reasons I joined a local office is because I worked from home the last 3 years. I needed a group to collaborate with. I’m glad you’re enjoying your time here.

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale but now live in Northern California. Looking to relocate back in a few years with my California wife and kids. Vero is definitely on our list! Especially being that my job relocation will in Fort Pierce. Definitely not moving back to Broward ! Lol. Thanks for the content and information!

Vero beach is the best we have kids and love nature beaches and love it that it’s free. Love big shots and would love more things like that here.

My Grandfather and his whole family originate from Vero, apparently our family where one of the first settlers to the city. My uncle passed away in 2023 due to cancer, and we wen't to Vero beach for the funeral, First time goin to wawa and buccys to! And what shocked me the most was the. Church we wen't to.... It was two storys, and very pink.. But the drive down was super cool and chill!
Called down there about 2014, realtor said, “you won’t like it here, nothing to do, only old retired people”. That certainly didn’t age well.

florida is a tuff state to live and as you start going south from st luice down south its just all unaffordable
Treasure Coast is great. Too bad Ft Pierce ruins a lot of the area. Vero is pretty sweet.
Slow to grow? Sounds amazing tbh. I don't wanna live in an over crowded gentrified traffic jam dump. Keep it small and family driven. I get that it's your job, but do that shit in the bigger cities that are already lost causes.

I live in Miami and he isn't lying about Home Depot. Honestly, it's worse than ever. My store probably has over 100 men sitting around waiting to be picked up for work.

Happy New Year and thanks for the informative video… any idea if on the commercial side new developments are in the near future such as a Super Target, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Aldi etc? Asking for a friend 😅 shed wouldn’t be too happy if we move there without at least a few of those 😊
Happy New Year! I haven’t heard of any of those stores coming to Vero, but our Target is very large and comparable to Super Targets we had in Orlando. We also have Fresh Market which is comparable to Whole Foods.
Aldi is a short drive away in Fort Pierce, and I’ve heard rumors of Trader Joe’s, but nothing confirmed yet

I wouldn’t say Vero Beach has a lack of kids. There’s 3,000 students in VBHS, and plenty of extra curricular activities for them. We’re also one of the top schools for sports, no matter what your kids end up playing. Football, baseball, volleyball, we have a great rowing program, lacrosse, etc.
Surfing clubs, sailing, theatre, and a lot more. There’s more than enough to make sure your kids find a good group to connect with/ grow up with, you just have to stay involved.
Live in NYC my husband and I are looking for a vacation home. Would you suggest building or buying something already on the market. When looking the homes look very dated for the asking price.

Thank you very much. What would an older craftsman home, with an old, native tree, close to everything cost? Square foot is no problem, just don't want to go broke.

Is there anyone living in vero beach . I am from india. my younger brother went there for studies and he is little bit scared due to first time he went away from home. So please if anyone live there provide your contact in case of emergency i can contact. Treat him as ur own younger brother
is it worth it to konckdown a house on the water today or is that a big deal
i know someone in plam city on the water and he wants his house taken down to build a new one is that a lot of stuff to think about before doing it is it more worth it to just sell the land find a house thats still on the water
People here do it all the time, especially in the central beach area where the location is desirable but holes are older.

Not our part of FL, but Florida in general, yes! If you mean population growth, our part of FL does a great job of mitigating that with no high rise condos, no large apartment buildings, and no tourist attractions. We love where we chose to move, but it makes it harder to find housing for sure!@@trirail812productions8

That was a good call you made on Wellen Park. I live in Venice (not WP) and what you said about Wellen Park being social, etc. seems to be spot on.
Thanks! We looked into that area for a relocation, but we’re happy the way things are here. It does seem like a great option for DINK couples or young families though.
Florida has become a nightmare for condo and single family home owners ever since the new mandatory flood insurance was made by the state. Sorry I’ll pass on Florida. Hoa fees plus homeowners insurance costs are through the roof. People that live there over 10 years are all selling because it’s no longer affordable. And there are other states with no income tax. And every beach I’ve been in Florida you have to pay to park, so beaches are not free.
I pay $140/ month for HOA fees
$2,000/ year for insurance
And $3,000/ year for taxes
Beaches in Vero Beach and boat ramps are free.
For living in paradise, this isn’t bad for me!
Insurance is highly subjective, if you are denied from a private insurance company the state offers affordable options. Lots of variables but I find if you speak to an insurance agent they can give you options to fit your needs and budget. I pay $172 for property tax. (This is not typical) However speaking to the county tax representatives can help you navigate what exemptions/deduction you qualify for. Such as a primary residence. Which I believe is $50,000. Highly affordable as a primary residence, compared to other states that have personal property tax and income tax.
Vero also has a very large equestrian community.
