Disclaimer: ALL shooting was done prior to drinking (in case anyone was concerned 😉)

You just proved yet again what I tell people everyday day. If your AR like my Smith&Wesson M&P15 Sport 2 came with an A2 leave it. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
I've watched and researched LUX meter measurements of 20 if the supposed best flash hiders on the marker. Some costing $80.00 and up.
The first 10 of those tested the A2 measured in LUX around 9th but here is the catch. All of those first 10 were under 1 LUX with readings so low and so little difference the human eye would never know the difference.
4 of the most expensive did help with sound suppression not being thrown forward but had massive balls of fire. Light will give your position away much faster and easier at night than sound ever will.
Tested, proven and inexpensive. If you already have the A2 on your AR, leave it alone. You will just waist money.
    Nice comparison... Thanks

The A2 flash wasn’t that bad out of the 11.5”; I expect it would have even less in a longer barrel.
