Ling, I love you guys friendship, and I think there is a good reason why he wants you to learn and understand pigeon. pidgin is spoken in every country just in a different ways. Once you learn it, you can go anywhere in Nigeria and will not feel left out of the conversation 🥰🤣. I also had to learn that with my husband for 8 years.

Pidgin English in Nigeria is very complex, every region in Nigeria has their own way and style of speaking or rather relating to different ethnicity..
If nigerian origin is complex then I wonder what cameroonian and Sierra Leone pidgin is?
