The silver puts an eloquent look but no border is good for a naturalist

I really enjoyed your video. Very informative and helpfull. I have already dried my flowers in the microwave and tomorrow I will cast them in two layers as you have suggested.

They look more elegant without the silver edge. It adds a feline softness to them when using flowers.

Love the silver! But there’s nothing that changes the fact that they are beautiful on their on!

WOW! Thanks for the shout out! Love these coasters. I still need to work on my flower-drying. I've only tried silica crystals so far. Don't do it enough to warrant the cost of the microwave dryer. But yours turned out great! CONGRATULATIONS on hitting over 50K! That is a really big deal. And I'm sure you're only beginning. You'll be at 100K before you know it. Just watch your analytics so you know for sure what the people respond to. Good Luck!

They look beautiful- Definitely look better with the silver edge.

I like them both, but i think the one without silver has its own natural illuminating glow around it because of how the light hits it, & it also appears to have more light shining throughout the whole coaster without it.

Hi Sheri, those coasters look so great. I have also been casting flowers from my garden into coasters. I left mine without a boarder as I felt it showcased the flowers best.

I like them better without the silver, but if you will be using them in room/area with a more feminine design I would add the sver border. The silver border kind of adds a frame style that is more formal formal/feminine looking.

I like both. But I noticed when you held them up my eyes traveled to the silver one more. So stay with the silver edging on this one.

I think they look great either way, but because they are clear coasters they look more natural without the silver.

That’s a genius idea w/the watercolor paper. And adding that extra petal before pressing, Love this♥️(please remove if not allowed but I don’t have $65 for the micro fleur, do you know any cheaper comparable ones? TIA) TFS!

What kind of varnish did you use, how much? And did you mix silver alcohol ink? I don’t know if I missed something but I would like to see the recipe you used.🙂

I saw that colors can bleed if you buy dried flowers because they were dyed. Do you find that drying them yourself as in this video that they hold their color? Love your channel

Hi, absolutely love the coasters either way - they are just stunning. Question: I clicked on the link to get some resin but there doesn’t appear to be a casting resin there and was there a code? Thanks so much Nat. Also I just signed up for your class can’t wait to get started.

Great video! I have recently started a resin coaster with flowers project for my daughter's wedding. I noticed you are placing your flowers face up, and the sharper edge is at the bottom of your molds. I am having to place mine face down, as the sharper edge appears at the top. Much harder to visualize the design upside down! I would love your suggestion on this! Thank you!

I place them face up so less air bubble get trap under the flowers

Heyy. Just wondering how do you press flowers with big bulb eg carnations? Tried to press it as flat as I could but the bulb is still sticking out of my resin coasters 😢

Hi Sheri, Love the video, i think keep them plain as you said you always do it. something different perhaps.
Also you know how the resin comes up and creates a little lip edge would you sand that down and make it completely flat or do a dome pour to level it out? is there a right or wrong way?
