I watched someone's walkthrough of Great Outdoors tarot and the art looks gorgeous but lots of cards seemed very similar to each other and quite a lot of cards seemed like just a picture of "people enjoying outside" randomly assigned to a tarot card. But you say you love the deck so maybe it's in the guidebook? Like explained well the things and so?
I'd think of your own tarot for the trip! I don't know about place vibes but as for the traveling and road trip, it seems birds fit perfectly to such thing!

As for the deck, I think I like its vibe so much because it reminds me of camping and road trips as a kid. I can see why some may say it's very "people just doing things", but I do feel like the images were chosen well enough to get the point across and I enjoy the tactile experience of its shuffle ☺️
I was tempted to take my Little Bird Tarot, but it just wasn't the mood I was going for this trip ✨

I’ve lived in California my entire life, and I’m not sure what the “California vibe“ means in a general sense. And since Southern California and northern California are like 2 different states, imo, I can only speak to what northern California feels like.
Of all the decks you showed here, the one I connect with N. California the most is the great outdoors tarot and the gentle tarot. And thank you for saying that about the card stock for the great outdoors tarot. I love it! Shuffles like a dream.
Outside of the decks you showed here, I would say the flow tarot, The naturescapes tarot, and even your deck, the little bird tarot. For Oracle decks, coastal curiosities was an excellent choice!

Hehehe I guess I just had an idea of what San Francisco would be like and wanted the deck to fit the mood ☺️
I did wind up taking The Mind's Eye as well which I was so glad for because it was spot on when I arrived!
We also stopped in Mendocino which was such a cute little place!
Yeah, I agree with you - most states have completely different vibes depending on where you are there and CA is no different! ☺️✨
Hope you enjoyed San Francisco and Alcatraz! I am really loving your channel. As a native Californian, I have to say that the Outdoor Tarot and the Lightseers both feel like California to me, although, the Lightseers definitely feels a lot more like Southern California. I’m more of a Northern CA person.the Outdoor tarot reminds me of Yosemite. I love your choice of the Guided Hand Tarot. It’s fun and eclectic, and so interesting.

Omg I love the Bay Area. I lived in Monterey for a year and I think Oceanum Arcanae NAILS the vibe there. Haven't really been to NorCal, but my partner is from SoCal and I've been there a few times. I feel like Mind's Eye really works too bc some parts are so artsy and whimsical! I hope you enjoyed your trip 🥰🌊
It's SUCH a good ocean deck. Not too whimsical, a little dark and moody but with enough light and energy to hold its own on a sunny day! The Minds Eye was a perfect last minute pack which I'm so glad I did because it fit San Francisco's vibe so well! The trip was so nice and much needed!! ☺️✨
