I respect that he is open about his struggle with anxiety and is willing to talk about it. We need more public discussions about the mental health issues facing all of us.

I second that! I'm happy for him, happy he found the love of his life. He's happy now and ready for a comeback, that must felt great. He seems in a much better place! I can't say l wasn't team Edward, but at the same token l was a fan of all of them, the characters they played. I admired all of them, but for what it worths, he got class. He has this sort of charisma about him, I like him. I wish him the best with his future wife and lots of success with his career ♡.

Couldn't agree more. So many people are excluded when people find out. Especially by their families. I'm a parent. I am becoming painfully aware of too many parents that speak ill, put down, rub the more successful siblings and don't recognize the extreme effort or successes their children have. Whether their child is young or adult. It is literally killing people. There are many levels of stigma around mental illnesses. The conversation needs to happen whenever and where ever possible.
I'm so happy he did not get sucked into Hollywood and took the time off. Not everyone has the self awareness to realize I need to take care of my mental health. It takes a lot of courage to talk about it and admire him for opening up on camera.
I think it’s really all about balance. Working to be able to accomplish goals in life and have a career that you love, but also make time for your own well being. You should want to make the most of your life, but not overwhelm yourself

To be honest, I starting to believe that about most industries with everything that is going on. Show me an industries that is filled with corruption, exploitation, and unsatisfied laborers.
I’m honestly so proud of him he’s come a long way. He truly has hit another peak in my opinion and it’s incredible. The way this guy was sexualized & treated like an object as a literal child is horrific to see looking back. I don’t blame him for not wanting to leave the house. I’m so glad that he was able to pull himself out of that rather than succumb to that idea what he has to be that 16 year old boy forever. Couldn’t be happier for him.

Being famous is one thing, being a working actor is another. As long as Taylor is working, being happy and healthy, that’s all that matters. Trying to make it as an actor is hard, maintaining that is just as hard if not harder. He looks great too.

Taylor has been one of my favorite actors back to the days of “The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava Girl”. It definitely wasn’t overnight success. I remember an interview way back when he said he did his own stunts in that movie due to his martial arts background. He was as authentic then as he is now. As someone who also struggles with anxiety everyday, I’m so happy for Taylor that he’s created a life for himself on his terms now, with the love of his life. He seems so genuinely happy and in love, and he seems to have a great relationship with his family too (his sister Makena in particular). I doubt he’ll see this, but we never forgot about you Taylor. But we’ve been rooting for you in life over the years, not just on the big screen. And I’m sorry that society as a whole added to that self doubt.
Good for him for taking a break from the limelight because he didn't like it. Self care and our mental health is so important. He looks very happy and healthy.

I’ve always admired celebrities who want to be normal. They don’t eat up being famous, acting weird and creating scandals to make them more famous. Another celebrity I admire is Denzel Washington. They care about being a great actor and they go home to their families. It’s refreshing to see Taylor wanting a normal life. He’s a handsome and talented guy. All the best to him.

Nice to see someone not consumed by fame, greed or power. He enjoyed the ride for what it was and now can enjoy his life without sacrificing his morals, soul or priorities in life. Always did wonder what ended up happening to him. Glad he found someone who he can share his life with and made the most out of his life.

I was always a team Jacob fan and really appreciated Taylor’s portrayal and dedication to the role, I don’t think it ever really hit me though that he was as young as he was when he made the films, so then having to deal with the fame so quick so soon, to then the over all Hollywood expectations of him to then spiraling and feeling like no one cared about him as a person after the hype of it all started to come to a close, it’s really nice to hear that after all the trials in his life he found happiness and light at the end of the tunnel. Proud of him and I can’t wait to support the new project.

I work at Trader Joe’s, and it’s great when local favorites occasionally recognize my face and we connect…But having to be followed, watched, 24/7 would be a nightmare. Glad he stepped back and focused on the simple things in life!!!

Having worked in production on a couple of high profile television and film projects, I can understand how difficult it is for some actors to do basic things when the paparazzi are outside your house waiting to follow you everywhere you go just to get a bad photo they can sell for thousands of dollars. Between the crazy fandoms and stalker-razzi, I'm surprised how well some handle it while others simply need to step away because you don't want to deal with. Glad to hear he took some time for himself to review where his life and career was, review the decisions he made, and just decompress so he just be an actor and not tabloid fodder

All those 'stars' feel absolutely trapped by the fame, they do everything to escape it and when they've succeeded (we totally forget about them), they do everything to regain it. Thank God we get to hear about their struggles, otherwise we wouldn't know what life is.

As someone with an anxiety disorder, I relate to him to an extent and I know how debilitating the invisible anxiety can get. I’m so proud of him for taking time for himself and Im so happy he’s okay. I’m so glad Hollywood didn’t eat him alive.

I always worried about him. Kristen always had indie films before, during and after. Rob had to work to get his feet again, but Taylor really had it hard. Some of the cast too. It's been mixed. It's like Dawson's Creek, Harry Potter and other similar TV/Movies that hit that sweet spot in that moment in time some excel, others find it really hard.
