I'm an old lady that still loved Taylor Lautner! I know 'The Ridiculous 8' got bad reviews but I was actually intrigued by the way Lautner portrayed his character. How brave to do it! I applaud him not taking himself so seriously and just had fun with it. And like millions of others, I felt HE was the hit of the Twilight series.

The world wasn’t ready for Lautner. From everything I have seen and know about him he is probably the most down to earth nice guy to grace the silver-screen. If he comes back I’ll gladly see his films. But if not he seems to be pretty smart with his money so he has no reason to return.

I never understood the backlash over Abducted. My family loved that movie. He nailed the action scenes. I really thought he was going to become an action star. I don't understand why he has not been offered more roles like that . I think he is an overlooked talent.

Personally, I really liked Abduction. He was impressive in the action parts of the movie because of his martial arts and physical abilities. When I watched the Twilight series, I liked his acting the best of the 3 leads. I’m not a young teenage girl btw. Could it possibly be that he doesn’t play the sick Hollywood games? Maybe he just isn’t an ass kisser. He seems like a genuinely good person in his interviews. I hope he doesn’t change to get the roles. This is most likely the answer. Most of the genuinely good ones tend to stay away from the inner core of Hollywood and stay on the periphery, or stick to acting ventures in other smaller industries (Canada, the U.K., and foreign film acting industries are far less toxic by comparison). Very rarely does a genuinely good person get into the top echelons of Hollywood, and **if** any of those actors that do are good people, they're put through hell and end up with major mental health issues.

One of my reason. Other reason was Major Jasper Whitlock’s very interesting background story of his life performed by Jackson Rathbone. I would had love movie series base on Major Whitlock’s human story , vampire story during Vampire Wars period and his love story adventure with Alice. This would be more interesting to me with his struggles of becoming animal sucking vampire after years of him living off humans , him developing and dealing with his multiple of vampire personalities resulted from his time in Vampire Wars and more interesting with telling of Alice’s story before they had met up with Cullen family. Then , movies about how Cullen family began as family through years before meeting Bella Swan. I would be equally interested in full movies about La Push’s wolves from beginning to present day with Jacob. Heck , Carlisle Cullen and Esme Cullen’s human to vampire storylines would had been very intriguing to me. Bella and Edward were my least interesting characters in the movie and book series. I had wish Jacob had imprinted and falling in love with Leah since I had felt they had more chemistry together over him and Bella or Nessie.

I think generally his 'problem' is picking/being picked roles that sound good on paper, but come to nothing on screen. I can genuinely say I've enjoyed his roles in movies and shows, Cuckoo he saved. Twilight saga, should have had a spinoff or two based on his character, there's a lot more to his dissaperance at the start of the last book (breaking dawn part 1). And he was the funniest part of Ridiculous six.

What happened to Taylor is the same thing that has happened to several actors. He tried to capitalize on his Twilight success, but the projects he chose were not well received. Because he rose to fame in Twilight, most casting directors are not going to take him seriously. Both Kristen and Robert did indie projects that showcased their range and got positive buzz. Eventually, they started getting cast in big movies again. He needs to do the same until he can get cast in a high-profile role again. Alternatively, he could try TV like Freddie Highmore. Freddie was a successful child actor, but was unable to transition to adult roles as he got older. So Freddie did Bates Motel and now he's the lead on The Good Doctor, another hit TV show. Matthew McConaghey's career hit the skids for a while until he did a TV show and then he started getting cast in more movies. Taylor is still very young and he has plenty of time to resurrect his career. He just needs to find a path that works.

I thought Abduction was a good movie and Taylor's character in Cuckoo is really funny. He has a very bright future regardless of his choices. But I hope for an action- comedy, which I think is his forté.

I watched New Moon when I was 15 years old in 2009. I thought he was in the mid 20's who played as a teenager, because his body was very good and his expression was very charming, like an adult's. I was really amazed by American teenagers at that time. He is really handsome!
