@@alissa6 at that point your not really controlling metal anymore though, your controlling molecules. And if your controlling molecules you can control everything with enough training. In which case why not control the air inside a person’s lungs and just choke them to death by not allowing anymore air in or out. Eventually the person will suffocate with no oxygenated air in the lungs.

@@stevelucky7579 thats not how magnetism works dude. He can manipulate ferrous materials, IE things that contain iron molecules. air molecules are not ferrous therefore he couldnt do that.

Little bummed they used magnets to end the fight. At some point with all the powerups they have handed the hulk I would think we would get a panel of him ripping a piece or 2 of Doom's armor off with his bare hands.
So they have his “dead” body in front of them and their only solution is bury him? They should’ve gone the Deadpool route and cut him into small pieces, then send each piece across the world or in space
The Pantheon talks about that in the background at 13:15, basically giving the excuse that they don't know how well he can regenerate, and that if they do cut him up, they might just end up with MORE maestros
@@ROYal_Brewery that's not a excuse because the hulk has never been able to do that in their universe and he's had limbs chopped off before. It was just a lazy plot device
In immortal hulk, they did that and all the pieces were still alive and broke out and came back together. I think they didn't do that mostly just to prevent doing something that has been done by someone else recently

Yep, chop him up into 6 pieces, dissolve those individually in the strongest acid, load what's left into 6 separate rockets, and shoot them into 6 different parts of the sun. Just to be completely sure.
This issue did a good job of explaining what Maestro is capable of. But Victor Von Doom is not written well here.
He's written perfectly. This is how every Doom vs Magneto should've been.

One wrong thing about this is if Dr Doom loses his armor he still has his knowledge of magic to protect him

Schenectady shout-out in my daily comics explained consumption! 💯💪🏾 I was working in a bank out there when I first started listening/subscribed to this channel! 😂
But I thought the writer was "experienced" 😂... he wasn't gonna do something as dumb as have Doom go out via poisoning...
So he has Doom get ripped apart by a bunch of magnets instead... Doom's armour is a titanium alloy though... titanium isn't magnetic... at all... infact the vast majority of metals aren't, how does this make sense? 😂 is it just primary school "magnet stick to metal" logic??
And how is the battle over? At that point, with Doom sans armour isn't Maestro essentially fighting a slightly less skilled Dr. Strange??

The minute Doom was introduced, they had no choice but to either make him a friendly, or give Hulk a plot shield.
I thought the same. I think a lot of ppl assume most metals are magnetic. It's part of the ignorance of the masses.

Its been established that while he's exceedingly intelligent, DR Doom is only like the 4th or 5th smartest man on earth behind Reed Richards, Bruce Banner, Adam Brashear and MAYBE Tony Stark. He could probably become smarter than them, but his ego and arrogance hinders him at every step.
Octavious and Parker are pretty smart too, if I recall Pym considered Parker to be smarter than him. Some sources tell me that Parker has an IQ of 250, which is pretty high
Actually that’s wrong. He’s the 2nd smartest out there right after Reed and maybe Valeria. He’s much smarter than Bruce Banner and Tony Stark. This story is meant to put Maestro in the spotlight therefore he beat Doom here.

He’s like 3rd. Moon girl first. Arguably reed second and doom third. In story arc Tony made every one at smart as him and when reed got as smart as Tony. He literally states he got “ dumber “ by being as smart as Tony. And in other comic doom tells Tony that he is smarter and Tony accepts that.
Agreed. I’d say Doom, between his magic and his inherent abilities, has the greatest potential out of all of them hindered only by his EXTREME arrogance

It's so annoying how everyone is so dismissive depending on who's comic book it is. Especially when it comes to a Hulk comic. So Doom forgets all his arcane power just because he doesn't have his armor?!?! Wth! Hulk has electro magnetic equipment preemptively set up in dystopia without Doom knowing it? So what!, Bruce has learned strategy against or with general Ross. Doom has gone against Demons, Thanos, Kang, Galactus, etc... Screw Ross. Also Banner is a highly intelligent nuclear physicist. He's never been a highly capable strategist. Buuuuut, because it's a Hulk comic, Hulk beats and outsmarts everyone. 🙄

worth noting, that specifically Doom was a master of melding technology with magic - being stripped from his suit could, temporarily, weaken his grasp of magic.
That being said - Doom has stood against gods who must be able to muster more force than an electro magnet X-D Also, Doom didn't throw him there - Maestro says he "guided" his fall to land there which is just absurd X-D

I grew up in Rensselaer County, so I was massively surprised by the mention of Schenectady.
Pretty sure Doc Ock is from Schenectady in the comics, Rob pulls it out on occasion to make us feel good.
Maestro is just as smart but more brutal.

Imagine defeating the ivory kings, reforging the marvel multiverse with your own will, killing Dr. Strange and a phoenix empowered Cyclopes, turning the Human Torch in the sun, taking the power of Galactus (twice!), using Mjolnir to escape hell, freeing your mothers soul from mephisto himself, creating a time machine, creating armor superior to tony starks, being so good at magic that you qualified as a candidate for sorcerer supreme, at one time sharing a bed with the wife of your arch nemesis (and they still named their daughter after your relative), DEFEATS THE MARQUES OF DEATH...just to get beat by magnets. Okay.

People forget how capable Dr Doom is, even without his armor. Hes a formidable sorceror and brutally intelligent. It shows his strength that he can go toe to toe with Maestro.
I would love a movie with the Maestro in it. Maybe even a couple of movies.
The one thing I always wonder about time travel was put forward in a Dilbert comic published on Sunday June 25, 2017.
Unless your time device accounts for the rotation of the planet. You might be left drifting in the vacuum of space.
Maybe most time machines are teleportation devices as well, at least that’s I always assumed. Time Space continuum device I suppose is a more proper name.

As many times Doom has faced off against Reed, Stark, Spiderman, Black Panther, Magneto etc etc I refuse to believe he can be defeated by fvcking magnets. There is no fvcking way his armor is metallic like that and didn't have a defense for THAT. Smh at lazy writing.

A hulk that has trained to be at full strength 100% of the time would be insane. He also trains his mind to be completely aware and in control. Wears an uru/vibranium/adamantium/yaka nanotech suit. Learns magic from strange.
well a 100% powered up hulk can destroy universes with eas and is durable to take what he can dish out so the suit would just make him more clunky and is less durable then he's skin, but some super op magic on top could be cool. there is just noone who could stand up to that power, as hulk is the avatar of toaa so he has the potential for omniversal+ strenght. but cool thought tho
A full strength Hulk wouldn't be able to stand on a planet without shattering it, World Breaker gets his name for a reason
@@JargonMadjin which is where the idea of a super high tech magic suit of armor that lets him use just as much as he wants and increases other abilities or grants them. Flying for instance.

Exactly. He's definitely in the top echelon in that department. Even moreso, he's definitely above Banner in that department.
He outplayed the Beyonders, who themselves were capable enough to topple cosmic beings, all of whom are far more experienced in combat than the Hulk. I don't often disagree with what Rob has to say.. but I gotta stand up for Dr Doom

I heard that Dr. Doom can have force-fields around him, because of his armor, and it can stay up, and he can still attack, and that Magneto *CANNOT* use his magnetic powers on Dr. Doom because of his force-fields, so why was Dr. Doom not using his force-fields in this occasion? Was he too arrogant and messed around with Maestro for fun, or something like that to prove that he is more dominant than Maestro, or something like that ? Tell me what you all think.
Because lazy writing and plot armor, it’s a bad comic
@@Babyboy12342-vI mean Dr. Doom is such a goofy character since he can basically do anything, so yeah the heroes kinda need plot armor to beat him. He’s even worse than Batman, and with Batman it works because he’s the hero so he’s gonna win anyway, and even then DC has showed that even with how smart Batman is and with all his resources, there are still beings above him that he just can’t ever match. But with Dr. Doom, he basically became as powerful as the one above all. It’s just not very good writing, he basically has been shown to be smarter, stronger, and have more resources than everyone else so when someone beats him, of course it’s gonna feel wrong. That’s just bad writing. As much as I like Dr. Doom, he’s not a well written character.
