Great job. 👍 Question on the axle flip... most axles have a drain hole(s), when flipped the drain holes are on top. What options have you looked at or how would you recommend to correct it? Does it need to be corrected? The Rims are a nice upgrade. You said it well. Good road tires that once they are worn down then they can upgrade to beefier ones.
Thanks so much for watching!!! The axle stays in the same orientation, but the brackets flip to the top (brackets from the kit). This way you don't have to worry about the drain or the trailer tracking correctly.
No... I mounted the outdoor unit, but had to wait to finish the interior walls to mount the inside unit, vacuum the lines and fire it up. The video for the split system will be released soon. Thanks for watching!!!
When the jack came out I said out loud I hope you don't put that jack under the axle. Yup, you did, and I let out a loud "NO-OOO!" and woke up the wife. A long time ago, I had a boat and trailer in the yard and I was pulling it out and all of a sudden there was an abrupt stop. I looked under the trailer and saw a small tree stump that bumped the axle. Do you know that the axle is actually just a lightweight tube and its only purpose is to keep the tires spaced apart from each other. It does not support any weight. The spindles support the weight. The axle is kinda like a wire with the weight of the trailer sitting on it and when you pick it up from the middle the axle will bend. Now your tires are slightly bent with the tops sticking out, even if it's just a little bit and you dont see it. Its like you wont see a wheel alignment on your car. In my case, the tires squealed loudly above 20 mph and blew out after about 40 miles or less. You need to lift the trailer from the spindles right behind the tire and support the trailer frame with jack stands. All your support strength is right where the springs sit. The jack stands can be placed under the leaf springs but under their perches at each end of the spring is better. It may or may not look like it but you bent that tube, even if it is just a little bit. You know that eventually the tires or even wheel bearings will wear out prematurely (if not soon) because of side forces places on them
Most likely... You need to find out what the Toyota bolt pattern is and what your trailer pattern is (trailers are usually a standard pattern). Once you know this you can order the spacer with the correct conversion and width that you need. I just bought a new trailer. I will be using that as a tool trailer for about a year and a half before I build it out as a camper. I am looking to use some wheels and tires that I have on my ford truck, so I will be looking for new spacers as well when I get to that point. Good luck, and thanks for watching!!!

We added some beefy tires to our 5X8...
Did I miss the mini split install ?
I’m sure it will be an upcoming video, I’m looking forward to it too.

It's coming soon! Thanks for watching!
I went to your website after watching the video and I can't find the size of the tires that you installed.
These were standard tires off of a 2018 Jeep Wrangler. 245/75R17

Thanks for the heads up! Thanks for watching!
Do the kick down jack legs still work with the new height?
Yes- you do have to use some leveling blocks. Thanks! for watching!
Is there a spacer that works for 17” Tacoma Trd rims?
