THE DOOMLOCK! | Best Budget HR Build | Dark and Darker

On Dark and Darker, I've been experimenting on warlock for a different build that is still viable-- probably due to a hole multiclassing left-- and it took me a bit to refine, but this "Doom-Lock" build plays incredibly well for me, and it is extremely cheap to buy! I spent a good bit editing this video and thinking of the idea, sorry for the delay on uploads!

Really liked the video but I wish you showed detailed stats like hovering over gear or showing details so I can see ballpark speed and cast speed and stuff like that.

cast speed is user preference, you just need enough memory capacity for the spells
I get the want for more in depth details but honestly the build can vary so much its difficult.. you can use crystal sword, falchion/kris / crystal ball, you can opt to not use plate, etc.. hard to tell you whats right or wrong, but the general ballpark of building magic damage and wearing will is all that matters
if you want more cast speed, build it! I was going for a general guideline more than a strict build, you know?

cool build tbh, im gonna try this. if i could suggest tho the speed effects you added are probably good for a short bit but after a bit they were kind of straining my eyes (i dont have any retinal issues)

Understandable, I appreciate the feedback! I tried to minimize how long it lasted by only keeping it to that one fight scene, but I’ll try to find a way to make it less visually harsh! Appreciate you 🤙🏽

just be careful running soul collector because eldritch shield eats all of your stacks with 0 benefit, probably the only reason I choose not to take eshield

If you dont take eldritch, I'd say bloodstained is probably another good option! I completely agree with the eldritch shield though, definitely has consumed my stacks a couple times by accident. Against casters, its phenomenal though so its worth it for me personally, even if it eats my stacks

@@terrellsdoomed Eldrich is there so that you can run Power of Sac without taking damage, right?

@@Humbugg22 yes, but +15 strength and +5 weapon dmg is still good IMO, if you take eldritch, you just run the risk of it consuming your stacks
